Massive fan of Syndicate as a kid, this hit many notes ive been looking for Some amazing shoot outs, some of the best ive had in a while, in the final mission where it was cactully slighlty challenging in the demo, enemies would cover the retreat of others, return with friends, when he came back, some flanked me, fast, and they tried to push me together, I was actully quite stunned, they rush, they flank, they fall back, one guy will put down cover fire to cover their retreat, THIS is why ill stick with this game, and ill go check out the orginal for the city destruction. the game is rough, yes, with missing icons and tool tips fo items you cant use yet, seem to be items for my first mech suit, the mech mission breaking into the corpos compound was very fun. game for sure needs more time in the oven, if you dont grab it now, wishlist it to grab further down the track, final mission was really eye opening, much larger, lots of guns to chose from, they are all powerful, as guns should be. some people are bign cry babies about the previous game, im going to download that now also myself, but im liking the mix of missions between on foot / mech that is coming, and yes, this is a terrorism simulator.

I don't know what's going on in this world or why I'm doing it, but I know I need to build my arsenal and make them pay. Edit: I'm sick of these snotty little brats leaving negative reviews comparing it to the demo. The purpose of the demo was to go "hey look at all this cool stuff we're going to add to the game." They let you play with the big fun toys, and that was the whole point -- to generate interest and show what was to come. Now that the game is in early access, it's high-end content isn't available yet because the content is being released in the order in which you'd acquire it to manage power creep, and not all at once like the demo. So yes, the negative reviewers are being spoiled brats. They should have never been shown what was to come, because they're not mature and patient enough to let a game grow and evolve naturally. So stop saying it's "unacceptable" and dumb crap like that. You aren't entitled to anything. Go play the demo if you want to feel overpowered again. Otherwise, deal with it and STFU.
Very fun
Game is fun. Game is hard. Honestly enjoying it more than I enjoyed the original brigador in it's current state. Compared to the demo the rate at which you get stronger feels quite a lot slower which personally feels better for the game overall. Have yet to reach the end of the content, but not sure if the amount of content is worth the price so far.
It's Brigador, which is fun. It's a story-driven game but also an extraction looter in some ways. I'm not certain why I'm a guy who's doing things but can die and lose his equipment and I'm back to talking to the same few people. I wouldn't mind if it was purely one or the other but "Yada yada. Oh no an ambush!" and they took all my stuff and I'm alive back at base again without like... cloning or something. In it's current version, I would say hold off.
Pretty fun for what there is now. Excited to see where it goes.
This game is going to be SOOOOOO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good once its done cooking. The devs track record speaks for itself, they will get it finished come hell or high water so i say buy it now to support them. Whats in the game now is awesome as it is, the fifth mission in has you riding around in a mech slaughtering security and cops and oh my god is it so gooooood.
The core loop of the game is amazing. Sounds, music, gunplay, loot gobbling. That said, the game is very early access and difficult (in a fair way). The equipment loss is rough, but equip yourself like an expendable soldier and you'll do fine. I do want more story though.
Brigador Killers rocks. It is difficult, it is unforgiving, it is going to kick your teeth in and stomp on your curled-up body. You will die until you get it right- and when you do get it right, whether by the skin of your teeth or through accumulation of so much firepower you can once again lord over a map like the first game, it feels GOOD. The devs are active on the Stellar Jockeys discord server and listen to player feedback. Although this initial EA opening is rough for some (I had a couple missions which were difficult enough to make me cheese avoiding loot loss on death) the game itself has the sauce that it takes to make a game fun for many, many hours. The music slaps. The visuals slap. The destruction, even the limited amount you can do as just one schmuck on foot or in the vehicles you have access to, is there. It will continue to be there. The game will only get better as time goes on, and I'm here for it. Give it a go. Don't expect the EA, especially this early in, to be easy. If you want an easier time, wait for the game to be more fleshed out, then try it later- but absolutely do not miss or pass this one up if you're a fan of the original. It's rough getting the ball rolling but by god is it fun when it *is* rolling.
