This game saved me from taking my own life. I am studying abroad and my mental health was going down the drain. I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and I tried to commit suicide several times. Each time I was getting closer. The doctors prescribed the wrong meds and I was getting worse. I was planning the final time, I even wrote a farewell letter to friends who will probably never read it, but I thought to myself if i can make one persons' life a little bit better, my life would not have been in vain, so I opened Steam and got an indie game from a sole developer who were trying their luck for their first time, and it got me hooked. This game reminded me of Balatro, which I truly love. Although its mechanics aren't something novel and it is not GOTY material, it kept me alive enough for me to reconsider my last attempt. I have the IQ of a monkey with HIV, which is not bad perse but also not good, so i didn't finish the game in this short time, but tonight I will go to sleep knowing I have something to look forward to tomorrow, to beat the game. So to Nova Makes Games, thank you for helping me in the most unexpected way, for keeping me safe just a little longer, maybe I will still remain alive to see your next game come out, but I will be forever grateful for Brewmatics.
