A LOT of issues. *A-posing and animation issues with dashing and jumping *Player and mob models rotating to face targets when dead *Sound is quiet even at 100 max everything *"Windowed Fullscreen" isn't really windowed, cannot get mouse off screen without alt-tabbing like fullscreen *Face animations are low-key cursed and the protag kinda hideous *For a game about potions there sure aren't any healing potions apart from some gimmicky things *Spending coins on town unlocks and getting nothing apart from npcs *If unlocking npcs is important and favor is important it should probably make it obvious *I find myself almost never using potions, their effects are miniscule at best, even when empowered *Dodging in this game is complete jank, 2 inch distance with barely any iframe, get caught in a aoe circle and you're all but certain to get hit cause you cannot escape it. *Punching and offensive dodging is suicide, dash into other enemies, their attacks, or map hazards unknowingly. *Flank enemies that you know are behind you, doesn't matter you know their location, they will slide at you at mach-5 speed and hit you unless you keep your eyes on them 24/7 as well as the entire room. *World is almost fully static mesh, lifeless unreal engine feel per usual. *No immersive dialogue, beat the cat girl before, see her again, no comment on it. *Timed rating but scatter destroyable objects all over the room. *Timed consumable drinks, thankfully pause on room clear, but not during waiting periods for boss phase changes, or mob spawning. Sure I'm forgetting other things. How is this not early access??
This game feels unfinished. Like insanely unfinished. My first gripe with it was the sound, yes we have 7.1 surround, or rather 7.0 because like most tgame devs they just use some base surround sound without knowing what a subwoofer is. And the music only comes from the front speakers because, of course. But if this would be a problem worth mentioning than the game would be brilliant!. But! No, it could almost be a silent game because most things don't have propper sound effects. There is no voice acting at all even trough it really needs it. The writing is pretty bad and also contracticts itself very often, trough not in an important way. But also everything is Tell don't show, they just love text boxes with explenation of what is happenning, in many cutscenes you see a characters do something with an explanation what happens. I love when in titanic, when it was sinking, there was a big textbox saying "the titanic is sinking and many people are currently drowning in the water". It looks more like those where left in so the designer would know where to put in animations and voielines. But the gameplay loop is also pretty boring, which could work, if A you would know how to obtain more interesting wais fo playing, like how to unlock other weapons etc. and B there would be any health items. I once found a health fountain after multiple missons and it would just heal like 50% of my health. What a bummer!. I bet in a year from now I'll love this game and what it has become but releasing it in this unfinished state is just insane to me. Just keep it in early access.
Love the concept. just bad execution.
cute and fun you can give them all presents :3
Cute game. The main character looks... pretty gross, but the gameplay is simple and cute. I have two main issues that will probably get fixed in time. 1) The lightning gun is insanely broken. It carries you through the whole game, with more ammo compared to firing time than any other gun before you even upgrade it. It's a beam that does low damage repeatedly, and occasionally discharges to hit all nearby enemies. The problem is the badges. 10% chance to poison, 10% chance to crit and everything to do with rage giving more attack speed and movement speed means this thing outdamages every other slow firing weapon. 2) Only getting one NPC event per return to the academy is really annoying. I levelled up multiple NPCs affection at the same time, so I had to reload the hub multiple times so every character's event would work normally. Other than that, the NPCs are the best part of this game. It has a mechanic similar to Hades where you can give them gifts, but unlike Hades where it is just a single gift you can give to anyone, you need to find out what each NPC likes, and that's really smart and enjoyable. Rebalance the lightning gun and fix the main character's gross rat face (Rats can be really cute, but not like this) and this is an absolute little gem of a game.
A cute roguelike with a fun potion-brewing gimmick.
I bought this game expecting a surprise, and I certainly got one! I'd like to give a general overview of several aspects that I think could be improved or that I really admire. Starting with... Gameplay and Difficulty! Probably one of the best aspects of the game. Controls aren't really complicated to understand, and it feels quite satisfying to play. As for the difficulty, it's challenging, forcing you to try different strategies and living up to any roguelike title! World and Characters! Probably the second best aspect of the game. The characters are quite charismatic, and above all, the game's universe is interesting and entertaining. However, sometimes it feels like it could be explored much more Music and Sound Effects! Although the music is quite good, it sometimes becomes rather monotonous. It doesn't need to change constantly, but sometimes it gets tiresome hearing the same thing over and over. And the most important point: sound effects for various actions within the game are desperately needed. Visual Style, Animations, and Scenery: The game's visuals are another strong point, being quite captivating and charismatic. However, it falls a bit short with the character models (the protagonist model, for example, could be much better) some of them are bizarre, or somewhat buggy, some animations don't feel appropriate for the situation, and sometimes the scenery simply doesn't enhance the scene's impact. This is an aspect that could be improved. Interactions, Tutorials, and More! This aspect feels good; you have what you need to interact, although a little more would be appreciated. One strong point that needs improvement is the tutorials. Some, like the one about the need to know the characters, are practically nonexistent and could be much more intuitive. In my final thoughts, I'd say it's a good game, but it can improve in several areas. I highly recommend give this game a try, and I hope it continues to be updated in the future. My final rating is 8/10!
Гра про мишу у мульт-обгортці з системою roguelite. Побігати було цікаво.
This game still has long ways to go especially with the button inputs for when it comes to making selections, but for the rest of it its still really fun and does feel like Ratchet and Clank this really felt like the game I was missing
