The game challenges you to navigate through levels filled with moving platforms, hidden traps, and mind-bending puzzles. Each stage tests your timing, precision, and problem-solving skills as you climb higher toward your goal. The puzzles gradually increase in difficulty, offering a satisfying learning curve without becoming frustrating. What makes Tower Princess stand out is its mix of simple mechanics and creative level design. It’s easy to pick up, but mastering the tower’s secrets requires patience and skill. Along the way, you unlock charming story snippets that add depth and charm to the adventure. With bright, colorful pixel art and smooth animations, Tower Princess has a nostalgic yet fresh look. The characters and environments are lovingly crafted, creating a fairy tale world that’s both inviting and mysterious. The soundtrack is catchy and upbeat, perfectly matching the game’s lighthearted tone. What Could Be Better: -Some puzzles can feel repetitive after a while. -The story is cute but fairly simple, lacking deeper narrative elements. -Limited variety in gameplay mechanics might leave hardcore puzzle fans wanting more. Tower Princess is a charming and accessible puzzle platformer perfect for players looking for a sweet, casual challenge wrapped in a fairy tale setting. It’s a great pick for those who enjoy classic puzzle games with a touch of storybook magic. Rating: 6/10
The game is charming. It has a soft, cartoony style and doesn't take much seriously. The controls are just too clunky for me to enjoy it. Keyboard/Mouse being bad in a PC-focused game is already a red flag, but the controls are awkward on controller with right trigger being dodge, physics making jumps not feel very good to perform, and movement getting me caught repeatedly on objects/stairs in my short playtime. It has a somewhat awkward translation, a very generic soundtrack that I kept thinking was the backdrop to YouTube videos, and a lot of unpolished gameplay. I see the potential, if they keep updating and improving on things. For the time being though, I can't put up with it. Even at sale price.
This is definitely belongs to the TOP3 worst games i ever played.
get ready for some (kobold) magic!
I like the general concept: stupid braindead roguelite game with comic relief characters, princesses to save, and a very very EVIL [strike] good boi [/strike] Dragon to fight.
....and the magic ends right here. That's all folks
The intro is fun, the Kobold Princess is waifu material (no joke!), everything else is boring to death AND ALSO very frustrating to play. ALL you need is a LOT of patience to bait every enemy, a LOT of big healing potions, and you're good to go. Fighting every boss, included the [strike]good boi[/strike] Dragon is a utter joke, with each being a 20minutes long slog. I can also safely say the garden boss is the most difficult fight in the game, not because of the fight itself, but because of the surprise-all-your-controls-are-swapped during the last quarter of the fight.
It looks replayable, but no thanks
Doing a one full first run will likely cause severe burnout to the player, because the upgrade system is seemingly broken, and had to play using the basic weapons which are just toy weapons.
not controller friendly
ingame menus and some inputs are broken when using controller (emulated XBOX360 controller, which works fine in 99,9% of games), resulting in broken interactions (had to use the keyboard to open menus and "use/enter/talk")
Game is fun but lackluster after five hours, nothing from the devs about any updates since '23 and doubt they're adding more to the game. Not worth a purchase just get something else.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm used to some games being hard, and I can even enjoy that. I'm certainly not the pro-gamer who is going to speedrun Dark Souls in 2 hours or whatever. However, a GOOD game is one where it feels like YOUR fault for dying, losing, whatever. This. This is not that. You will die to random nonsense. Things you can't see. Your attacks simply not happening when you click. Your character not responding correctly. Now sure, is the ranged character complete garbage because the only that makes them useful is to have RANGED situations which you can't aim for? Absolutely. Can you auto-target close enemies. Yes. Does the dodge work as intended? Absolutely not. BUT! After an extensive 22 minutes of play, I have come to a decision I spent a grueling 37 seconds thinking about. This game is trash. But they got their money out of me, and I'm not asking for a refund. I got what I paid for. And I paid for $4 worth of game, and I was delivered exactly that. So if you are thinking about paying for this too... don't.
Really solid game imo. Combat is a bit simple but that's part of the charm. The princess companions all having unique abilities is where most of the spice comes from. I will say, the maze area is a CHORE with the camera system in this game, and the mushroom boss has a mechanic where he flips your controls for the last bit of the fight and it felt more un-fun than a challenge. Overall rough around the edges but REALLY addicting. If 20 bucks sounds a bit much for that wait for a sale!
When I first bought the game I absolutely hated it, I was like what's the point of dying all the time, the game seems to have no point other than dying. I returned the game, then I thought about it so much that I had to give it another try because it seemed like I was missing something. I bought it again, I started playing it again. I questioned myself. I can now say that I think it's a great game
nice premise , under cooked and over priced , its worth about 5 dollors
Buen juego, aunque quiero que arregle varios bugs por favor.
