About
Vast, unknowable entities have become irresistibly drawn to the noise and chaos of humanity—like a storm collapsing upon a flickering candle. Their efforts to enter our world have fractured reality, creating BREACHES—unnatural rifts where the fabric of existence wears thin.
Monitor surveillance feeds across key locations. Detect and report Breaches. Let too many Breaches slip by, and it's Game Over—not just for you, but for all of us.
BE EVER VIGILANT. GOOD LUCK.
Surveillance Horror Gameplay
Spot subtle (and not-so-subtle) changes in up to 5 live camera feeds per level. Miss too many and face the consequences.
Sabotage and Disruption
The Breaches aren't the only threat. Stay sharp—unknown forces are actively working to sabotage your watch. Expect planted explosives, booby traps, and camera interference designed to shatter your focus. These hazards demand immediate attention—hesitation only results in failure
Each location offers a distinct flavor of dread, including:
Carnival – Once joyous, now twisted and abandoned
Outpost – Isolated. Storm-wracked. Not alone.
Hospital – They don’t rest in peace
Theatre – One final, haunting performance
Safe House – It wasn’t safe enough
Haunted Mansion – Echoes and shadows cling to the walls
Empty House – A fire still burns. Dinner is served. No one's home
Cyberlab – Experiments incomplete... but still alive
Over 600 Unique Breaches
Each level features 3–5 camera feeds, and every feed contains at least 20 handcrafted, reality-defying Breaches. That’s up to 100 unique events per level to learn, spot, and survive.

Must have for I'm on Observation Duty fans. + well-made levels with large amount of things to spot + great sound design, especially background noises are good addition for atmosphere + songs on theater level are an absolute peak + low price +- good graphics / high system requirements, anyway you don't need many fps in this type of game Suggestions: - unlock at least normal difficulty by default, easy is too easy (in IOD there are like 6 cameras at once that keeps player to play more), personally I liked it more before the difficulty update - achievements should definitely be more challenging (e.g. for clearing level on hard) Great work so far, I hope the developer continues in the same spirit!
A great game at a great price! Had this excitedly sat on my wishlist and somehow missed the release! This feels like a grown-up version of “spot the difference” with a mysterious twist. The atmosphere is consistently strong throughout, subtle, moody, and immersive.. and the soundtrack absolutely nails it! As another reviewer has said, the Theatre level soundtrack is killer! The breaches can be really subtle, but that’s what makes spotting them so satisfying. I haven’t finished a single level yet (playing on normal), but every time I play, I feel like I’m getting a little sharper and getting an eye for it. It’s surprisingly addictive once your brain starts to lock into the game and I'm determined to push further and see what lies ahead now I have a feel for it. Runs well on the Steam Deck with just a couple of minor tweaks. Overall, this is a fantastic little gem with clear passion behind it. The attention to detail in the level design really shines, and it’s great to see the developer so active and supportive. I’m genuinely excited to see where the game goes from here, and what else Rusty Cog Games has in store for the future. Support indie studios like this, they’re where some of the most creative and refreshing ideas in gaming are coming from. Bigger devs could definitely learn a thing or two here. Keep up the great work!
Great Game for those who enjoy a challenge as well as a good spook, a couple of jump scares here and there that really get the blood pumping Playing through the levels unlocks the next, each one bringing a new spook and difficulty, once you get the hang of it it's really an enjoyable game.
I wish there was an anomaly search tag in steam Hope it helps to algorithms: Breach 83 is relevant to I'm on observation duty
Impressively well made and interesting, glad to see continued developer support and improvements on the way.
Probably the worst iteration of the anomaly observing genre that I have played thus far. The most anoying part of the game is that the controls can break at any time, where parts of the screen cannot be reported for breaches, switching cameras may not always work, and if you misclick an anomaly, you have to wait a few moments before you can try again. Also, the game is VERY LOUD! Even if you turn all of the sounds down to below 20, the game sounds like it is on max volume anyway. The sound effect when you lose a round feels like it is on 500% volume. And finally, Borderless and Windowed mode causes the mouse cursor to completely break if you try to change windows to do something else, which is a deal breaker. The game is essentially unplayable at this point, you cannot win any rounds because there is fake breaches popping up like the Ferris Wheel breaking on the Carnival level, which destroy your chances of winning.
