Excellent premier jeu pour un indépendant ! Bravo à toi ! Les possibilités d'amélioration permettent de bien augmenter la durée de vie d'un jeu. Un multi à 2 pourrait être une très bonne amélioration. Bravo encore !
BowmanVsZombies
You are an bowman with the fate of exterminating all the zombies on the planet, will you fulfill your purpose? First installment of the indie developer '' Antoine Heseque '' with which we hope what surprises us. Positive Points •With the game currency we will obtain everything: Skills improvements, customizations and even maps. •Different temporal effects with which we will obtain advantages. •Two types of attack, primary (Remote) and secondary (Melee) •Has markers where you can compare your score against other players. •It's fun in a certain way. •The setting of the scenarios is very good, I think what is the best thing I can get to stand out about this title. •There are score tables to compare yourself with the global players. •Very good special effects, such as what you see when you spend all your energy. •It can work on almost any computer. •It's very cheap. •Possibility of playing with a friend in a cooperative. •Easy to learn controls. Neutral Points •The HUD is not bad but it is not good either. •Every 5 waves there is a boss, but the same boss is always repeated. •The number of enemies is varied but they should add more scenarios and for each place we will only have 3 or 4 different. •It is only available in 2 languages, but it is understandable because they should focus on other aspects of the game. •There are different types of enemies, you can see why they have a different and striking color, increasing their life, speed or strength but they look very little and almost do not appear. •There is no tutorial, although I do not think it is so important because the learning curve is very simple. •Animations are neither bad nor good. •The soundtrack is regular in themes of sound effects but it lowers its punctuation very much because there is almost no music. •The mechanics of combat is not good or bad, why it has some difficulty due to the number of enemies but it is very easy to run while you look back and shoot at what is after you. •Possibility of regularly modifying the audio and graphic preferences. Negative Points •Unlimited arrows, by this I mean what we can shoot as much as we want without having to perform the recharging action. •Some other bug which can become disastrous, like the one that does not let you run (If this happens in a critical situation you are directly dead). •The damage is very irregular and there is no direct way to measure it (Sometimes you will take 50, 30 or 70 others, all pointing to the same place) •The statistics to improve are very irrelevant, they could add the basic ones like speed or force. •It is very monotonous and boring because they ask for too many coins to be able to unlock things, consequently there is a need to repeat scenarios over and over again. •The occurrence of temporary effects is very low and every long period of time. •No difficulties, only increase the number of enemies that appear for each surpassed wave. Conclusion The game has many points to polish specifically in the design concepts but I see what has something of future and what stands out in other points, it is necessary to give time why it is just coming to the market. If you are interested in spending a bit of fun and relaxation I recommend it, why its price is fantastic.
Bowman VS Zombies is exactly what you would expect from the title, you play a bowman and you fire bolts into the oncoming waves of zombies. The crossbow itself is a tad slow, but that adds to the realism of it being a crossbow i suppose, those things are never easy to load, the zombies hit a little too hard but can easily be dispatched with some headshots and easily kited, the bosses or larger zombies look amazing! Power-ups also need to be a little more clear with when they can be used or re picked up, i found myself running back to the mausoleums too often to check if i could refresh a buff. The game runs amazingly smooth for being an FPS indie title and the SFX and music are a very good mix. keep an eye on this game for sure. Sadly no gamepad support so no 8bitdo seal of approval
Follow my curator page, Skeletons-play-Video-Games-too. if you like and want to see more reviews like this one. BowmanVSZombies is an abandoned Early Access Unity based first person wave survival FPS arena shooter. You're in a graveyard with a bow, you shoot waves of what look like asset flipped zombies. What fun. I couldn't find the exact asset packs being used here, but it looks and feels like it's all asset flipped. The developer abandoned this game in an incomplete state roughly a year ago. There's a ridiculous $5 cash grab price for this abandoned Unity trash. Upon trying to launch into the game after going through the game menu, this game caused a hard PC reset for me, implying the developer is doing something very bad with the code, another reason to avoid this abandoned, incomplete game. But wait, there's more. Despite being very low poly, asset flip style cartoony assets and so on, the game runs the GPU up to 100% immediately, even if you're just sitting at the menu, an indication that this is either horribly optimised, or worse, it's running crypto mining. Of course, that's only something an unethical developer would do... Unethically, the developer sold keys to this abandoned Early Access game into cheap, nasty game bundles. This seems to have been done in an attempt to mislead gamers into buying a knowingly faulty, defective and incomplete product. When a developer does this for a game they have zero practical intention of completing, this is essentially a scam, a hustle to get paid for a broken/unfinished product. Often this is done as an exit strategy, as the developer takes the money and runs. No refunds have been given, the developer kept all the money they took from gamers.
Review as of 9-12-18 Right now the game is in its very early stages and overall is rather bare bones. You go in and get exactly as the game's title suggests, you are a bowman and you are killing zombies. The art style isn't bad but right now without any much customization or real threat from the enemy roster its grows old fairly quick. I go into a little more into detail about my current complaints with the game so far in the video below. I will be editing this review and doing a full review upon the game leaving early access.
Courage :D !
