Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Jul 30 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is such a hard game to review. I played through Borderlands 2 solo and absolutely loved it. 9/10 and straight onto my "Favourites" list. I loved the storyline, the characters, the world building, everything about it. I played through Borderlands The Pre-Sequel coop and mostly under-levelled for a little added difficulty. Borderlands TPS definitely isn't Borderlands 2, but there are some really good elements to it. The shooting and gameplay mechanics, as with BL2, feel great. The weapon variety is good (it even has energy weapons that BL2 doesn't). The enemy variety is acceptable (if slightly thin). The replayability and variety of playstyles is certainly present. The coop was also plug-and-play. We were playing on Steam Deck and a Fedora Gaming PC (Linux), so both of us had to switch from Native to Proton. After that, it worked fine. Now for the negatives. The game was fun, but the storyline and world building just won't stick with me the same way BL2's will. We were given a lot of context about Jack and how he came to become Handsome Jack, but the other characters were left on the side. That being said, I've heard that the DLCs help with that. Now, this one is tenuous. The missions were also crazy long. That might be entirely my own fault for being under-levelled and not doing side missions, so I won't fault Borderlands TPS too much. Finally for the most annoying bit. Both the host and me experienced various audio issues. Every so often, all audio would go silent for around 10 seconds, and then pop back in again. Regularly cutscenes were entirely ruined by ALL voices (including ECHOs, side characters, etc) being massively sped up. This really impacted the delivery of key storyline moments. Overall I did enjoy the game, but BL2 would be the one I go back to. I'm excited to try out the DLCs at some point, this game falls to the rating of games like The Outer Worlds or Space Marine 1.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Once again, before I write this review
♥♥♥♥ RANDY BITCHFORD
So the Pre Sequel is basically the story of how Handsome Jack became Handsome Jack, it plays out very similarily to how Borderlands 2 plays out, except that it adds a more sci fi theme into the game, aka, new gun type that is laser guns, now you have to worry about oxygen sometimes, the gravity is sometimes low so you can perform slams, the game becomes more mobile overall and you can now play as some characters you've seen before, I personally like how the game now has the character you're playing as interact with the story rather than being entirely mute.
Warning for spoiler section ahead

I got a bit sad when Felicity died and I had to fight her, and I got a bit annoyed at how Jack literally betrayed the scientists, but then again, I should have seen it coming, rest in peace Felicity and Glad, you will be missed.
Just like I did with Borderlands 2, I'm leaving Vault Hunter Mode for another time, and to end this review, I just wanna leave some of my critiques here: missions being long as ♥♥♥♥ (And barely ever setting a foot on Concordia is the reason I finished the game while carrying 183 UNUSED moonstones), the game was fun until the end where despite carrying powerful weaponry, I was get mauled to death in seconds everytime I got into a fight, so I had to run A LOT, and the boss fights were annoying as ♥♥♥♥ and took forever to beat. One thing I wanna leave in clear by the way, I still absolutely suggest playing Borderlands 2 before TPS because otherwise you won't understand some of the cutscenes.
8/10
Bom
(Handsome) Jack before he became a bad guy along with lots of Aussies, what's not to love. Seriously, a good interesting story with a surprising amount of emotion attached to a few bits along with likeable characters and excellent balance. A few unique things about it like low-grav in many places but it makes the game more enjoyable rather than annoying. That said, whoever created the Stingray should probably never make a game vehicle ever again, man does that thing suck. Minor, though, I've played through multiple times and always enjoyed it, highly recommended.

Двадцать лет назад сгорел родной мой дом Документы, деньги, всё сгорело в нём И теперь я побираюсь двадцать лет Кому нужен старый никудышный дед?
tl;dr: Backtracking simulator. Most story characters are insufferable caricatures that make you want to rip your ears out every time they open their mouths. Maps are designed like gigantic mazes with only one fast travel point situated in the most inconvenient location. Combat is the only thing that saves this game. 4.5/10. After having played Borderlands 2 and 3, I can confidently say that this is by far the worst of the three. Let's start with what the game does well, because there sure as hell are a LOT more negatives than positives. Firstly, the general movement and combat is great. Moon gravity makes the compulsory long walks across the map as you inevitably have to backtrack much less tedious, and also adds a nice dimension of complexity to combat. Otherwise, combat is generally the same as in Borderlands 2, which also has great combat, so it would be really difficult to screw up there. Secondly, the game contains a LOT less aggravating enemies than in Borderlands 2. Yes, there are still Stalkers, but there are no more Buzzards, no more Skags, no more Rakks - just most enemies that made Borderlands 2 absolutely miserable have been removed, which is great. Enemies also no longer flee to Quebec whenever you get downed, making getting FFYL revives much easier. Now the negatives. My biggest complaint is the amount of backtracking. Backtracking has always been a thing in Borderlands games, but the extent to which backtracking is used to pad out play time in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is ludicrous. The game will FREQUENTLY ask you to walk all the way through an enemy-infested map for one objective that is right at the end, force you to walk all the way back (because there are no one-way exit teleporters) and go all the way through another enemy-infested map for one objective, only to send you BACK to the first enemy-infested map (enemies have now respawned) for another objective that is, once again, all the way at the end of the map. It certainly does not help that the maps are seemingly designed by someone that hates fun, because some of these maps are the most convoluted and maze-like areas I've ever seen in a game. My other complaint is the story. Okay yes, Borderlands is supposed to be silly and humorous, but what in the world were they thinking with some of these characters? For example, Pickle is just a very poorly done caricature of a Cockney British person, just jamming in random Cockney slang for no reason. Janey Springs' cartoonishly happy-go-lucky personality rubbed me the wrong way since the first second I met her, and no, this is not even about how she somehow finds a way to announce that she's a lesbian at every turn. And Nina is just Russian. That's it. That's her only schtick - she has a very thick Russian accent. It's also really difficult to feel for some of the main characters as well, for example Jack, Roland, and Lilith. The motivations for their actions are hazy at best (i.e. Jack kill scientists! He evil, he must be stopped, even though we were helping him this entire time!) I'm honestly struggling to even finish this game because the writing is just that horrendous. Overall, save yourself the trouble. If you're interested in the story, just watch a recap on YouTube or something. I'm not even going to dignify this game by purchasing any of the DLC - I'm uninstalling as soon as the credits roll. 4.5/10.
