Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

Having to manage oxygen is annoying and so is the low gravity. Characters are fun and it's nice to get the backstory to BL2. I enjoyed some parts, Playing as Athena made sniping fun but most of her skilltree was very uninteresting to me. It contains a lot of backtracking in the quests which gets boring after a while. I probably had bad luck but I never got any good weapons during the playthrough (didn't grind). Characters in borderlands are very entertaining and the visuals are nice but most of the game you are boosting over a barren landscape looking for the next oxygen spot. I would not recommend this game, watch a youtube summary of the game story is enough.

It's a boring mid-game between Borderlands and Borderlands 2. Play either of those instead (preferably Borderlands 2).

With friends, it's fun like a normal Borderlands game, but playing it solo is boredom squared. Most side missions have you running around from point A to C, then back to B, without actually doing anything at those points. Added the Fun of not having fast travel to like 30% of the maps, adds a lot of walking/driving on a low gravity moon. Not fun. You will find yourself standing in front of doors and waiting for people to open stuff up more times than you can count. This gets really annoying on True and Ultimate Vault Hunter difficulties—even more so if you play multiple characters for achievements. The plot is weird because if DAHL just didn't ♥♥♥♥ up the space station and [spoiler] Lilith didn't ♥♥♥♥ up his face and betray Jack [/spoiler], he would be a psycho, but not the genocidal type. He'd be more like a normal raider. I don't really get what the provocation was for everything that occurred, but maybe that's just me. All in all, I can say that with a friend it's enjoyable, but definitely don't buy it if you plan to play alone.
