14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Stylistically unique and father of the looter shooter genre. Setting some time aside with a friend to run through any one of these games is a good time. Sure, you might not be in the mood for the humor every day but they're light hearted games designed to be played in good faith and in good company. Better with friends, a bit hard to play and creepy alone in the year 2026. ---------------------------------------------------------------- 9/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Can not believe I 100% the game, it was tough, seeing that it's the OG Borderlands game, and the second one, is my favourite of all, I could see all the flaws that this one had, but it's not bad, it has more of the 2009 feeling, I will say it's more brown coloured, more plain and not as colourful or bright as the other games. Besides that, the gameplay is like any other Borderlands game, it's all the same and the special abilities of characters are dope af. It was a fun game to play, sadly taking quests do not initiate dialogue about said quests, so thats a bit sad, kinda forcing me to read the description of the quest. Achievement-wise it was a pain in the ass. Moxxi's Underdome can go straight to hell and below. Zombie Island of Dr. Ned - I did enjoy (Overall I like zombies) it was just annoying that you need to walk ALOT. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx - Instead of the zombie one where you need to walk alot in this one you need to drive alot, it was boring driving all across the map to go to a zone where I need to drive all across the map again. Claptrap's New Robot Revolution - Was alright, it was pretty cool and funny, made it feel like the writers got freedom, since the humour kinda matches the 2nd game. But the collectables were a pain and all rely on luck. Overall, the game was great, if not including the DLC i'd give it a 9/10 with the DLC it would be a solid 7. Still had fun especially playing with a friend.
When rumor spreads of a mysterious vault on the planet Pandora potentially opening very soon, four mercenaries turned treasure hunters embark on a quest to find the vault and reap whatever rewards that come out if it. Fame, wealth, power, all of it stands on the line as these Vault Hunters have to contend with bandits, the wildlife and the strange characters that might help or hinder to further their own goals. Borderlands is a revolutionary game. Though not the originator of the looter shooter genre, it carved it's own image by tacking RPG elements that serve to enrich and give a lot of freedom to players, with various builds and weapons to choose from on top of other things that can cater to your gameplay. After a brief intro narration as to the legend of the Vault, we're introduced to our four playable Vault Hunters. I'll go over them a little later, but once you've selected one of the four characters, you'll be dropped off at a bus stop outside the town of Fyrestone. It's from here and across the rest of the game's story that you take mercenary work and try to make a name for yourself on Pandora, meeting various characters with their own quirks and charm. A few initial examples being Marcus, the bus driver who is also the planet's arms dealer. An ultra-capitalist who sees oppurtunity in you and what could lay inside the Vault. Then there's the loveable robot Clap-Trap who you meet after stepping off the bus and gives the quick rundown of gameplay and your HUD/menus. You'll soon discover the mix of humor and panic he brings around hostile threats. Dr. Zed, a doctor who continues to practice medicine despite losing his medical license. Malpractice is good practice. And to close out the initial area, there's by far my favorite character TK Baha. A blind amputee who bears through the pain with great humor. You'll also be tasked with taking on major threats from the bandit population and those who lead the gangs across Pandora as eliminating them gets you one step closer to gathering pieces of the Vault Key to open the Vault itself with once found. These bandit leaders boast some pretty fun boss fights (barring one which is just purely annoying, requiring flimsy vehicles and no rewards) and come with some powerful loot for putting them down. If you ever catch up to the boss known as Sledge and wrangle his shotgun from his cold, dead hands, you've got your hands on a weapon that's served me multiple times from the point I got it all the way to the end of the story. Now if we want to get into gameplay, we have to start with our cast of protagonists. Each come with their own unique action skill and three skill trees comprised of passive effects and ones you can gain from killing enemies (Kill Skills as they're called). Kicking us off, Roland. He's an ex-Crimson Lance soldier and can summon a turret which will fire at enemies in front of it with some very generous lock on angles. Mordecai, a hunter who can call for his pet bird Bloodwing to swoop down on enemies and deal a respectable amount of damage. Brick is a towering strongman who can unleash into a berserker rage and furiously punch at whatever enemies you choose. Rounding out the cast is Lilith, a Siren who can use her powers to vanish into thin air and run around at incredible speed to ambush enemies. But with skills requiring cooldowns, you can't exactly lay down the hurt without your primary means of combat. Guns. Lots. And lots. Of guns. From pistols to SMGs, shotguns and rifles to snipers and launchers with some mysterious and powerful alien weaponry, Borderlands will keep you well stocked with various options. Guns vary in not only their rarity which follows a white-green-blue-purple-orange/yellow tier system, but the parts they come with too. Certain quests and bosses will also reward weapons with some slight red text, these weapons are likely your most powerful and unique options because of a unique trait or effect they have. Some weapons may also come with an elemental effect. Explosive bullets for more damage or effects to weaken enemies like fire for more fleshy targets, corrosive for armored targets or shock to drain an enemy's shield. Returning to the topic of your action skills, these too can have additional elemental effects on them if you find artifacts for your chosen class/character. Finding more powerful artifacts will boost the effect of that element up to a level of 6. Weapons also carry with them their own leveling system. If you favor pistols, you'll gain passive effects to their damage, accuracy and reload speed with leveling the pistol proficiency. Same applies to all other weapons. You're passively rewarded for choosing a weapon style you like, something that is removed from the later games tragically as this was an excellent bonus to have. On the topic of the later games both adding and subtracting from the original, Borderlands is probably the bleakest of the series in terms of color pallete. Most of this game's environments can be summed up as muddy wastelands and well put together little shanty towns, the bandit populace even utilising old installations from when Pandora was first colonised as bases with the withdrawl of multi-planetary companies. It's also a game with some more subtle humor that doesn't outright try to force a laugh with a giant flashing sign saying "This is a joke, laugh now". Completing the main story will also unlock Playthrough 2 for what character you're using, essentially a New Game+ but you keep all your skills and current arsenal including whatever is in your backpack so you can chase towards the max level and get better weapons suited to your level. My only complaint that seems small in the grand scheme would be one section of the game that barely leaves a footnote. After concluding your business in Fyrestone, you'll have to go through the location known as the Dahl Headland. Two story missions require dealing with hostile vehicles. Vehicles capable of manuvering at high speed and blowing you and your vehicle up just as quick. The boss fight in this area is especially egregious in this regard. If you manage to glitch it so the boss is active but you can hide on a ramp after dying and respawning, he becomes a far easier kill. But this section alone causes me to groan knowing I have to try and breeze through it before getting back to far better parts of the game. Overall, I absolutely recommend Borderlands. I still debate between this and Borderlands 2 as to which is my absolute favorite in the series, but you can't go wrong with playing this even if you have played the later games if you can deal with how much more stripped back this game is. But if you're looking for a total jumping off point as someone new to the series, this couldn't be a better start.
Borderlands is woke slop and DEI infested trash. Gearbox is now trying to shut down the steam discussion for their upcoming game, Borderlands 4. Hundreds of people posted about their dislike for what the company is doing, and were banned from posting, had their posts deleted, and generally, the company is moving forward with DEI and Woke content nobody who plays the game wants. Respect Gearbox as much as it respects you: don't buy their games.

ПО DLC: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution Найкраще DLC, яке ми проходили першим. 100 %. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned DLC 6.3/10
ENG
My friend and I completed the game, and here’s what I can say about it. At first I wasn’t impressed with the gameplay, and especially the graphics, but over time I got used to it and it became more or less fine. Still, I didn’t get the emotions from this game that I could have gotten. I’ll say it in advance: the game is very specific and not everyone will enjoy it. I would never have played through this game on my own. I didn’t really like the story, and the final boss is complete garbage. I understand the game is old, but the enemy hitboxes are ridiculously designed — sometimes you shoot directly at the body and still don’t hit the enemy. There is a lot of long running between locations and within the same location back and forth, which takes a lot of time. The locations themselves are often very empty. Many quests are repetitive. Positive aspects — there is a really large variety of weapons, some side quests are decent, and there is a kind of unique humor. ABOUT DLC: Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution The best DLC we played, and we played it first. This DLC is better than the main story. There are a lot of jokes, references, and humor. From the name you can already tell that it’s about a robot revolution. So it’s definitely worth playing. The Secret Armory of General Knoxx Also a very good DLC. It’s quite long and also better and more interesting than the main story. There’s humor, a decent plot, although there is still a lot of running around. I also recommend playing it. Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot I don’t recommend this DLC to anyone, ever. It’s a complete waste of time. You fight in an arena against waves of very repetitive mobs and get basically nothing for it. There’s no real story. And to complete it you need to spend up to 10 hours. We finished about half of it, got mentally burned out, and dropped the DLC. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned Overall this DLC is average. We reached it when we were already overleveled, so we finished it very easily — mobs and bosses were getting one-shotted. Because of that I recommend playing this DLC as early as possible so you won’t be overleveled. The story is okay, there is some humor, so it’s not worth skipping. (I described the DLC in the order we played them) Overall, except for Moxxi, the DLCs are better than the main game. 6.3/10
Borderlands 1 and 2 are great, but Gearbox, 2K and Randy Pitchford are utter ♥♥♥♥♥ and can suck my ♥♥♥♥.
