Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

like others have said, refunded because the game is so poorly optimized. 45 fps on low/med graphics. Not worth it even on sale. I don't even think I'd play this even if I was gifted for free. Just unable to enjoy the game.
Bought this game to play with my family, Haven’t gotten to play more then 10 minutes before an update ruined the experience. Now it’s been months and my game doesn’t update, even after reinstalling it fully. So all I get is compatibility issues.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 316.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 102.83/day in the week after.
Of the 12 markets with a position on both sides, 5 climbed and 3 fell. The same sale, the same day, opposite directions — which is why nothing here is averaged into a single arrow, and why one sale is not a trend.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 47/day in the week to Sep 11 → 340.86/day in the week after.
One market had a chart position on both sides of this cut. One sale in one country is an anecdote — read it next to the store-wide figures below.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 41.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 47.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is not a game; it is a stress test for your hardware, regardless of whether you are on a PC or a gaming laptop. It is simply not ready for release and suffers from numerous issues severe frame drops and a heavy, sole reliance on DLSS and Frame Generation. The game is virtually unplayable. The funny thing is that modders keep releasing new mods every now and then just trying to fix it. The game struggles severely with stability across all specs and hardware. Do not buy it. I only purchased it because it came in a bundle with Borderlands 3. Otherwise, Borderlands 4 is unplayable without performance-fix mods, and even then, it might or might not work. Save your money.
Only around 16 hours in, gameplay is great, performance could be better. Not recommended because I bought the base game to try it out and ended up liking it enough to keep playing beyond the 2 hours refundable period. I now want to purchase the Super Deluxe edition but there's no way to upgrade editions. Steam supports tells me it's a 2K problem because they don't allow upgrades. 2K support tells me "we don't handle refunds, just purchase the DLCs individually", the Bounty Pack and VH Packs are more expensive than the whole Super Deluxe edition (because the SD is on sale while the DLCs aren't) Trying to get attention here because Steam/2K support won't help me.
I have purchased every Borderlands game (except More Tales) on multiple systems/platforms (2 four separate times). I purchased multiple copies for my family so my mother and nephews and niece could play. Spent thousands of hours on Pandora, Elpis, and multiple planets around this galaxy. Kairos sucks. Borderlands 4 sucks. Gunplay is good. Traversal is good. Skill Trees are good. Story sucks. Open World design choices suck Being able to repeat bosses to target farm is good Vault Hunters are the least interesting in the entire series, character wise The end game sucks The pricing sucks Clap-Trap has always made me laugh. (I still quote: "Stairs? I can't climb stairs" however many years later). Clap-Trap annoyed the **** out of me this game. And not in a funny, ironic way Maybe because I don't live in memeland and had to look up what Skippity Toilet was after people complained about it in BL 3, but the humor has always made me laugh in Borderlands. Specific segments like the ending of Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragonkeep DLC in 2, or the robot friendship quest in BL 3's Heist dlc, could hit me in the feels. All I got from the writing in 4 was annoyed. It was....is, unfunny This is the first Borderlands I have finished ever that I didn't want to play anymore after I was done with the main campaign. I spent a few more hours tooling around, but it's stayed uninstalled, and I likely will never reinstall it. Every future Borderlands game will be wait for a sale before purchase With 64gb Ram I had no technical issues. On my much lower spec laptop, it was unplayable
da gospod!
Borderlands 3, also known as "Compiling Shaders: The Game"
While it's less obnoxious and grating than three, and has fewer of the Mike Meyers-level attempts at non-American accents, it's still pretty dreary fare. Performance is mediocre, leaning heavily on upscaling and framegen, even on powerful machines. The actual game itself seems uninspired, throwing endless increasingly spongey trash mobs at you in huge numbers rather than doing anything distinct. Fiddly jumping puzzle? Here's a load of rubbish flying trash constantly battering into you. One of the endless lazy fetch quests? You're going to have to kill a lot of the same boring crap you've seen a thousand times before to get to Claptrap's left buttcheek or whatever you're after now. None of them will be fun or interesting to fight, it will just scale how much effort they take to kill. It feels like variety is not this game's strong suit. Oh yes, Claptrap. Extremely grating, both the writing and the voicework feel like not the original people. It's so annoying that there's a dedicated volume slider to shut him up. Enough said. It very much feels like the B-team were responsible for this. Even the famous generated Lego weapons are now an indistinct mass, due to the weird manufacturer mixing taking away their distinct identifies, much like the way that mixing plasticine too much always comes out poo brown. The effect of the famous cell-shaded graphics has been ruined by making many of the environments and their contents far too visually cluttered, so it just looks generic. It's like the current teams working on this don't really understand the game - which is probably the case, given the treadmill hire and fire in games now. The upsides? As mentioned before, it's less obnoxious than BL3. Gone is the "hello fellow kids" edgelord dudebro cringe "humour" - this is extremely welcome. Now it's just a bit dull rather than life-threateningly awful. The game REALLY needs dialogue skipping though, as literally none of it is consequential or worth listening to. CDPR these people are not. It's quite buggy, especially during the (overpriced and skimpy) DLCs. Lots of mobs t-pose when killed, making it hard to see what's going on. Anything which triggers after you clear an area becomes a time-consuming slog because mobs fail to path around or clip into the scenery, so it takes ages and lots of fiddling to find and kill them. I'm not sure that I recommend this game, having put far too many hours into it, trying to find the fun. If you do buy it, absolutely do not pay full price, wait for deep discounts. I bought it out of morbid curiousity, but it could well be the last BL game that I bother with. TL;DR - it's less obnoxious than BL3 but it's still not good. Borderlands may effectively be over now. Edit: Also, I got a "developer response" responding to the broad themes in the above within seconds of posting it, on a Sunday too - looks like Gearbox are using slop to be their Steam replyguy. Classy.
