Constant predatory practices, I will start waiting to buy any game these tools release until they create a ''third super-ultra-supreme'' version that ends up on sale for 50% off a year and some odd days after the initial release. I bought the base version when it came out, with only deluxe version being the secondary option (too much for too little offered especially knowing how trash their dlc content tends to be). Now there's a Super Deluxe Edition on sale for CHEAPER THAN THE ORIGINAL BASE GAME at $64's, that HAS ALL CONTENT THAT WAS RELEASED AND WILL BE RELEASED; including 2 new Vault Hunters! That is so messed up that they did this to the people that spent the money on Deluxe Edition when it came out, along with those that bought the base game. Even more ridiculous that if I were to buy the discounted Super Deluxe Edition, my base purchase of the game IS COMPLETEY WASTED. I can't even gift my version to a friend nor does steam reduce the price of the purchase option regarding you owning the base version of the game to begin with. We seriously need to just stop buying these trash giant game companies' (AAA) various versions and wait until they're forced to put the games on sale along with their DLC due to losing so much capital. They legit pay people to analyze charts all day to figure out the best time to put content or games ON SALE, and which ones to maximize their profits, like in this case Where they know people like myself that payed full priced for the game alone, will be easily persuaded to buy the Super Deluxe Edition for the half price sale, just to get the DLC and Future DLC without paying for them individually. There's a reason they won't put the DLC individually on sale because they lose profits, sure they might get like $20-40 total from you if you bought their DLC on ''SALE'', but by doing it this way, they gaurantee that they'll get $64 from you by ''including all their DLC'' even the ones you don't want, to make it ''appear'' like a worthy deal.

Where to start... I mean i legit do not know what to say about the game. 3 was a HUGE miss in the borderlands franchise and this follows suit. Its a continuation to a game that was bad and did not feel like a borderlands game. I want to like it but it just feel, for lack of better words 'meh' Its not as fun. The dialogue is 100% FORGETTABLE. Nothing captures the interest or magic of what was Borderlands. Characters, forgettable as well. I finished the first part of the game and i could not tell you at ALL what the story is, or whats happening or why im doing what im doing. The into from Marcus even felt short and non descriptive at all. The most fun thing about the game, i kid you not is the gliding and climbing. That shoud tell you everything about the game. As far as performance, its absolute dog doo doo. The developers took the lazy way out to rely on DLSS and frame gen to run "smooth." Even with my 5080, it runs HORRIBLE. Only bought the game because it was discounted otherwise i would have not of bought it. The Vault Hunters skill trees seem so cluttered and almost feel completely useless. Even when you allocate points to the appropriate trees, a psycho will 1 shot you....... this is on easy BTW. It feels like a game of catch up instead of a fun shoot em up loot game. As a fan and owner of all Borderlands titles, i do NOT recommend this game at all. IF you want to dip your feet in the world of Borderlands...... I cant even recommend it for that. Really disappointed in the direction Borderlands has taken. It doesnt matter. Fans have voiced their opinions LOUDLY regarding the game. Randy, however thinks he knows whats best and its clear the games, since the Pre Sequel, have been designed to his like and not what the consumers have wanted. BL3 was a flop. Tiny Tina was a flop. This is a FLOP. Take the hint Randy.

I want to love this. I want to love it so bad but you just wont fix what is wrong with it. I am so in love with these games, all of them, I have loved every single one from the day I loaded it up the first time. Say what you want about the ones that aren't 2 but they are so special to me and it hurts that this game is so poorly optimized. i dig the story and the gameplay. the characters could use some work but they're okay. I like C4sh a lot and the weapons are sick but the game hardly runs on the lowest settings and i have a pretty damn good pc. I believe that if you love this franchise, you should play this game either find it on sale, for free from a friend or find a steam key for cheap online. With how poorly this game runs and is taken care of i don't recommend buying this game for any price that Gearbox thinks is reasonable. IF they can run it back and build up what they have produced, then maybe i will edit this in the future but with how The Man Randy talks about this game i don't see that happening

PC is well above the rec specs, game barely runs on lowest settings. Do not support this, optimize your games gearbox.

played every Borderlands game to completion. This game is so unoptimized that its unplayable on my machine. i don't have the best PC by any means but I can barely crack 30 fps with 12GB of VRAM and 64GM of RAM. Won't retry until they decide to fix this.

I was going to come back to this game after my playtrough at launch, which I enjoyed but meh. While installing I checked the dlc's just for fun, saw the contents.. ok cool, saw the price of the dlc's... It turned me off so much I stopped the download, uninstalled and come here to finally write the review I never did before. I loved this franchise so very much. I'm sad.

Tengo que decir que, después de 9 meses, me he llevado una sorpresa. Lo compré el último día de las rebajas de verano aprovechando la oferta de 29€ que hacia Steam con el pack de Borderlands 3+4 (como ya tenia el 3, el 4 me quedaba a ese precio) y tengo que decir que el juego está mejor optimizado de lo que creía. A ver, no está perfecto. Aún hay algún que otro tirón. Pero es más que jugable a estas alturas. La historia, está bien, nada del otro mundo, de momento. Pero han hecho mejor trabajo que con el 3. El villano se siente malvado y está ahí dando por el saco constantemente (aunque no se acerca ni a la sombra de Jack el Guapo, eso es imposible). El gameplay es puro Borderlands: caos y explosiones por doquier y muy divertido. He de reconocer que tenia mis dudas sobre el nuevo planteamiento de mundo abierto pero no me ha disgustado del todo. Las misiones secundarias tienen el típico tono humorístico de Borderlands y te sacaran alguna que otra sonrisa. Lo malo: para mi los DLC. Demasiado caros por lo que veo que ofrecen. Para no valen la pena. Si algún día sacan un mega pack por 10 o 15€ igual me los compro para probar los 2 nuevos buscadores. Mi recomendación? Por menos de 30€ el juego base está muy bien y vale la pena probarlo. Tengo un amigo que también lo pilló durante la oferta y estamos deseando coincidir para hacer explotar Kairos juntos igual que hicimos con Pandora en su momento! Más de 30€? Si, si viene de oferta con alguno de los DLC y realmente te interesan los nuevos buscadores. Más de 50€ con DLCs incluídos? Probablemente no, Pitchford no se merece ganar tanto dinero, no después de sus comentarios cuando salió el juego. Ya se que eso probablemente repercuta peor en sus trabajadores que en él pero son daños colaterales que hay que asumir. Son buenos programadores, lo han demostrado arreglando en juego que parecia imparcheable y encontrarán trabajo en una empresa que de verdad merezca su habilidad.

Bought this game to play with my family, Haven’t gotten to play more then 10 minutes before an update ruined the experience. Now it’s been months and my game doesn’t update, even after reinstalling it fully. So all I get is compatibility issues.

Only around 16 hours in, gameplay is great, performance could be better. Not recommended because I bought the base game to try it out and ended up liking it enough to keep playing beyond the 2 hours refundable period. I now want to purchase the Super Deluxe edition but there's no way to upgrade editions. Steam supports tells me it's a 2K problem because they don't allow upgrades. 2K support tells me "we don't handle refunds, just purchase the DLCs individually", the Bounty Pack and VH Packs are more expensive than the whole Super Deluxe edition (because the SD is on sale while the DLCs aren't) Trying to get attention here because Steam/2K support won't help me.
