Honest to god, i knew this game wasnt going to be anywhere near as good as the first 3 games but i thought maybe itll kill some time for me. instead i found myself wanting to kill myself the more time i spent on it. this is a soulless husk of its former self. a skin walker posing as your best friend from highschool. sure he knows all your inside jokes but he doesnt tell them right and his sense of humour is just, different these days. the game looks like borderlands, but in no way does it feel like it. i thought this fact wouldnt matter. i was severely wrong.

It has been a year now, so how is Borderlands 4 doing? It looks worse than Borderlands 3 It runs worse than Borderlands 3 It plays worse than Borderlands 3 It has less content than Borderlands 3 The characters are less interesting than in Borderlands 3 It's more expensive than Borderlands 3 The ost is worse than... pretty much all of the Borderlands franchise I keep giving new chances to this game, only to be greeted by 15+ minutes of shaders compilation, and a game that autocompletes everything with new characters, and that barely runs over 60 fps on high settings and performance dlss on This game does not want to be enjoyed

Out of all the Borderlands series this is the absolute worst. The story sucks and takes forever to finish. The Characters are pathetic and even on Normal Mode there's so many enemies shooting at you that you get knocked down so often you might as well not even try to get back up. At least in the other three the enemies missed when shooting at you enough so you could focus and think what to do but here every shot hits you and you can't figure out which way is up! Shame on you Gearbox. Putting virtue signaling over quality. Just because someone has an alternate way of living doesn't mean they are good at programming or character design. PUKE all the way around.
Lousy performance, nearly €200 in DLC costs, boring—reminds me of EA and Ubisoft. Gearbox and Borderlands are done.
