ﾈｺﾁｬﾝ!!! 完成度の高い音ゲーです。ゲーセンにあってもおかしくはない。 道具に遊び心があり、背景も色々あって作りこまれている。 猫の頭アクセサリーや柄もアンロック制なのでやりこみポイントがある。 アンロックされたものが解放済みのアイテムの中に紛れるので解放後に印が欲しい。どれ解放したかは案内がくるものの、わからん…。 曲選択時に一番難しい難易度にカーソルが合う罠だけは気を付けなくてはならない。 ちょっとVRリズムゲー慣れてる程度の自分で難易度Hardの4～5くらいが適正だったので難しいやつはマジでヤバい。

Let me tell you something Brother! I never imagined a game with a cat on the cover art to be more physically intensive than Beat Saber.. It's good.. but not as good as Beat Saber.

Wasn't that bad of a game until they changed all their branding to AI Now i cant recommend this even if it was good, what the hell devs?? You already had a nice image, why ruin it with slop?

The game is good and the song selection is solid, but I would definitely wait for a sale before buy it. Don't pay attention to the mentally challenged people trying to coerce the dev into remove some promotion art they made with AI... Those people are simple not intelligent enough to grasp that the future is here and we can't avoid it any longer.

BoomBox is falls in an interesting place among popular VR rhythm games. The actual mechanic of hitting drums isn't that far off of hit titles like Smash Drums, Ragna Rock, or Beat Saber, but where BoomBox differentiates itself is in the ease of modding. Many games require 3rd party software to be able to create their own maps, but BoomBox offers this option by default and highlights it as a critical part of the game's community. The VR rhythm game itself is well mapped for the courses made by the devs, and then the community comes along to bolster the rest of the maps. The music itself is focused on EDM. Honestly, lots of potential, bad implemenation. You can have custom maps for this game! But all the songs are made by the community so you don't get to play any popular songs. Maybe if they had a site like OhShape where everyone could upload their maps :)

Bought it in a bundle before AI images were used. Can't recommend. Rhythm XD or Beat Saber would be better picks...

Honestly the best VR rhythm game I've played so far. It's like a mix of drumming and raving and dancin and glowstix and cute cats worth worth much fun

追記：開発者から難易度を変えてはどうかという返答があったので、メニューをよく見たら曲ごとの難易度選択の部分を見落としていた。選曲時にデフォルトで最高難易度になっているので、そのままプレイすると難しいのも当然。曲によって難易度の数値も違うので、一番簡単な曲を一番低い難易度でプレイしたら普通に楽しめた。よって評価を赤から青に変更しておきます。猫が可愛いし。 ここから下は最初のレビュー： 猫が出ているから買ったが、難易度が高すぎて全然楽しくない。リストの一番上の曲を選んでもミス連発で十秒程度で終了。リストの二番目も同様。このゲームの曲をクリア出来る人は人間じゃないと思う。ミスしても曲途中でゲームオーバーにならないように設定は出来るが、続けているとややこしくて頭がおかしくなる。あまりに難しすぎて普通の人にはおすすめできない。 BepInExとXUnityAutoTranslatorで日本語に自動翻訳が可能だが文字の大きさや色の関係でちょっと読みにくい。OverrideFontTextMeshPro=とFallbackFontTextMeshPro=の両方にフォントを設定しないと文字が片目しか表示されなかったりする。
