Are you looking for a Beat Saber alternative? Looking for something more active that raises your cardio? Well Audio Trip is the game you are looking for. Very challenging (even on Beginner) get's you moving all over the place, and once you get into it, the game is surprisingly fun. *Note: 2% of players have completed BEGINNER The only downside is the music selection is not the greatest, but if you enjoy electronic dance music, you will certainly find something to enjoy. Definitely a must have if you want a rhythm workout game. You will lose weight playing this everyday. Edit* They have Gangnam Style in this game!
A Synth Riders' clone that is BETTER and MORE FUN than Synth Riders. It's also a better dancing game than all the other VR rhythm games I tried, which were many. I tried all the better known ones, including beat saber, ohshape, dance collider, pistol whip, audica, ragnarock, and obviously, synth riders. Audio Trip was the last vr rhythm game I tried, and it automatically went to my top 3 in the entire category. It is very fun to play, great for cardio, and the level design truly works to make the player move as if he or she was dancing with the song, as expected. The level designer for this game did a spectacular job. I would highly recommend Audio Trip for anyone that likes VR rhythm games and fun VR cardio/fitness games in general.
2/2/25 update I have advanced to cardeo lvl and my routine has grown to about 3-4 songs in a row MAX <rest and repeat>. I've dropped about 10 lbs. so far and can see and feel the difference. Without Audio Trip I would NEVER have had the drive and without the online song scoreboard system, i would nvr have had the will to progress up the charts. It's fun to compare myself w/the globe but really i compete more w/myself alone... (I'll be dancin' with myse-elf, oh oh, oh oh) Even if it's only a 5k improvement above the last trip.... still better than underscoring. I urge the Devs to continue to develop new DLC and charge a PREMIUM. We can afford it and most of your P1 fans understand that song licencing and professional dancers cost some dough and I for one am willing to pay top dollar for additional music to add to this most excellent workout routine system. It really does work and i dont wanna see it die... So if your a littl fluffy you should buy it now and give it a try! If your skinny like I... do the same, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1/24/24 I'm old, not fat just getting old. Im off from nov to april and it's getting harder to bounce back after the time off. Audio Trip on beginner setting {as of now) is a perfect way for me to burn a few extra cals. from not working hard each day - and will keep me in shape. the down side is i cant use any of my own techno hiphop tracks. the upside is - a perfect sync every time update, So i guess those of you who's frontend isn't missing the "Custom" editor feature CAN create tracks for your own music. But I cant find the Custom Editor button LOL, it's not where they show it on the utube video on "how to use the editor" so they must have moved it somewhere nice and obvious because i seriously cant find it anywhere in the interface. I checked the "local files" and i'm in the BETA testing program, but nothing, the entire "play menu" above the song list is missing. idk ,,, wtf? i'll keep my eyes open for it as i play.
Not a bad game necessarily, I just don't think I'd ever choose to play this instead of Beatsaber.
♥♥♥♥ song selection
A good alternative to Beat Sabre for fun workouts, engaging more of your body than that game does.
Love this game, the music was much better then beat saber. who can go wrong with some deadmau5 and some good Tech house beats, plus you can import and make your own trips to boogie to. Lots of fun but keep a towel around or get a sweat band this game makes you move. Great for Cardio. Definitely recommend it. 10/10
One of my favourite VR games, and it gets better the more I play. It is NOT a simple clone of other VR rhythm games - it's a distinct and well-executed contribution to the genre. It took me a while to understand the movement patterns - it's more fluid than other games - but once it clicks it feels really good. It's the closest thing to real dancing I've found. Intense workout at high difficulty levels, too! I don't love all of the campaign challenges. Some of them ask you to deliberately make mistakes, which is frustrating. But that's a small issue. Great game!
