Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 56.83/day in the week to Jul 17 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of my fav games, it's simple a masterpiece. Don't have enough time in my lifespaw to play it as much I wish I could.

Was sold to me as a game for people who like reading, but showing this prose to a person who likes reading would be like showing a crucifix to a vampire.
I apparently have over 500 hours in this game and have never written a review for it, so it feels about time. The strength of this game lies in its writing, and in the way the mysteries of Hush House are so well integrated into your exploration of the space itself and the objects you find there, even down to lore hidden in one of the time of day descriptions. It's a game of mystery and exploration, and its world will pull you in and make you want more. It's also, because of the depth of the lore and the world, the kind of game I would recommend playing, at least in the beginning, with a notebook by your side, which I liked but may not be for everyone. Unlike companion Secret Histories game Cultist Simulator, which is notoriously stressful, I find BoH incredibly relaxing to play, and I've enjoyed taking my time and taking it all in, and I go back from time to time for another challenge run or when I want to play something comforting. That said, the mechanics are wildly opaque when you're figuring the game out, and there are a lot of game design decisions made here that I find frankly baffling (why are workstation aspects and inputs so unevenly spread the way they are? Why does the beginning section of the house contain more difficult, more likely to be cursed books than one of the end game sections? Why are there so many crafting items that can't be used anywhere? Why are there so many blank space rooms?). I found the rest of the game strong enough to forgive the strange mechanical choices, and there have been some base game QoL upgrades and additions over the years (some of us remember the dark days before the bronze kitchen knife existed), and the DLC introduced a few, but it's not BoH's strong suit, which is the writing and the world it opens up for you. Read everything, take your time, and enjoy unraveling the mysteries the house holds.
The Good: Exceptionally well written snippets from many books of occult lore, items throughout the house, etc. ^Interesting, indepth and esoteric lore. Beautiful art. Calm and fitting soundtrack. Gameplay loop: this is debatable, but I find the gameplay loop fun. It revolves around exploring more rooms throughout Hush House, finding and reading books to gain and upgrade skills, and using those skills and various items to work towards one of many different endings. I found this fun, to the point I've played through the game three separate times to achieve different endings for different librarians (I've finished the Twiceborn, Magnate, and Prodigal so far). Not everyone might agree with me, as it's rather repetitive and esoteric. The Bad: The UI has significant issues. Items will often not work when trying to be placed somewhere, instead returning where they came from. A quarter to a half of your screen is going to be your inventory at all points in time. The five inventory slots given to hold onto objects is nowhere near enough, and organization is extremely difficult given the separated shelves where items are allowed. Perhaps the most annoying issue is that each day the fast forward resets, which mean that every several minutes you'll be speeding it up to 6x speed again (as there's no reason to play any slower at any point in time, as nothing in the game is time-limited and this makes timers go faster). This can be fixed with a mod, which makes the game genuinely three or four times more playable. Just be aware you are going to spend a good portion of your time doing something on par with organizing Minecraft chests, but sometimes when you pick up items it doesn't work and you only have five inventory slots. It sucks pretty bad. This is also the type of game you play with a spreadsheet open. At least so you can record what books you have which give you certain memories. You can play without the wiki as well, but it really sucks and I would recommend not doing that. There is nothing worse than guessing in a crafting station hoping you'll unlock a new recipe while you're trying to get one specific item. The Ugly: This game has a major learning curve problem: the "tutorial" does not really teach you much of anything, and what is allowed to go where is extremely unclear. To be honest, a tooltip that told people they can click on an empty box to see what it will and won't take would be very useful, and this is the number one piece of advice I would give to new players. The second piece of advice would be to read EVERYTHING. Some of it is just lore, but other things will reveal secrets hidden around the house as well as potential crafting recipes. The third would be that books can be reread to access the memories they give you for finishing them, the fourth that books can be read in desks, and the fifth that only one lesson is required for each skill upgrade, and other slots can be filled with any memory. It's also important to note that lessons can be interchanged. For example, a lesson with the elements Scale and Lantern does not necessarily need to be used only for its skill, and can instead be used for another skill that shares either of its elements. This is probably enough information for a new player to puzzle their way through things without going insane, so good luck!
