Dungeon Crawler and Card Strategy had a baby, and it's this series. This game series should be called "My First Dungeon Crawler". That's not at all to say it's bad; in fact, it's brilliant! It's easy to understand and fun to try new builds for your characters in the form of upgradable cards. For those that want to try this kind of game style out for the first time, I highly recommend checking this series out. If you like more of a challenge, you can make this as super hard as you want in settings and challenge modes. Like to do speed runs? The developers encourage it! Fun pop culture references, a neat level up and achievement system, and more additions to come! Book of Demons is just one book: they are working on multiple, each with a different theme. Check out the developers and, should you enjoy their work, you can them a hand wit the projects and check out their developments on all the other books. I find the "paperverse" stylization unique and fun. Kudos to whoever wrote all the rhyming poems and came up with all the jokes. Return 2 Games has potential as a studio in my view. While Covid has slowed down the production of it's planned expansions and ability to play as a multiplayer, the developers are great at keeping you updated and asking you for suggestions. How cool is that? I am eager to see what the future holds for this series, especially since each book will showcase a different genre. ADHD Gamer Approved: I want to say yes, but it's mixed. Some might find it a bit too hectic and chaotic as you can quickly get swarmed and struggle to pick a focus when it comes to battles. The good news is you can control the game speed in settings before you start to play! The developers had everyone in mind and make it easy to figure out what settings are best for you as a player.
