About
Bonelords is a Rogue-like, Souls-like, Terraria-like wave defense game, with an emphasis on combat & character build choices. Defend the mystical Fort Platz as you teleport across the lands of Speghiem. Each run is unique in this rogue-like experience!
Play and grow your character to play the way you want. Eight different starting classes keep each run different from the start! Level up your character's stats in whatever way you see fit - each stat is multipurpose. Pick your relics after each great enemy defeated to give you a major, unique boost in power (and believe me, you will need it)! No two characters are the same!

Dodge to move and gain invulnerability frames! Hit enemy attacks with your own to deflect & clank with theirs! Break down enemy poise to stagger them and go in for the kill! Every weapon has both a regular attack and a special attack, allowing for a wide variety of skill expression! Even dodge into the ground to wavedash and gain massive speed - we have it all!
Build your own defenses to stop the hordes. Put up walls and lay traps to delay and destroy the enemy! But beware; for the enemy will tear at your defenses from the ground up! If your structures weaken and crumble, the enemy (and yourself) will get crushed under it's weight!
Pass down attributes, items, and relics by inheriting the marrow of your previous champions! Build your list of legacies & train better parents, so that you can overcome even steeper obstacles!
Don't go it alone! Split screen multi-player with up to four other players. Remote play and let your friends in as well, at any distance, and on one copy of the game!

straight up boning my lord like no other
fun
Brooooo this game is so tuff. Overall I've been enjoying my time solo, the one thing that is like actually bad about this game is that they just need to update it more with content. Also balancing some of the weapons would make it feel a lot better (Mostly buffs). If they want to raise the price honestly just release DLC. I would buy that fr fr
Very fun game Played the demo all the way back, bought the game when I realized they made a full release It provides a pretty unique twist on Terraria's combat system with the whole poise mechanic which somehow makes Bonelords the only "Terraria mod" that fixes melee even against bosses, as even if you're using a different class, being able to clash attacks and stunning them (alongside dealing double damage) when their poise runs out is really effective TLDR, melee is very fun and good Also, the base building structure the game has is fairly decent too It has some jank to it due to the "structure needs supports" Thing which sometimes makes blocks float in midair??? But basically if you think hard enough you can get through the harder modes with mostly just traps. The currency system is also quite good too, since it provides a trade-off system. With bones, you can either spend them at the shop to base build to make the oncoming wave much easier, or level up your character to help with killing those enemies and the bosses. Although something I hope gets addressed is how leveling up isn't rewarding enough, since as mentioned you can get through waves with only traps, and leveling up barely increases your stats while getting really expensive really fast. (basically if you spend all of your bones on leveling up, I'm talking about tens of thousands of bones, you should have a better power boost than just "%30 more damage, now go deal with the 500 enemies") Also I get that right now the vision is for this game to be a roguelike, but it would be really cool if it got the old map system in the demo version so you could retry rounds especially for the secondary route difficulty, with the costs of not getting achievements or marrows. (plus it should make adding more content like new areas make more sense as you would have the option to play through them without the risk of losing hours of progress if you were playing the roguelike main gamemode) One last thing about the game, bosses should have reduced to no block damage at all since the one time I tried building an arena with platforms, the boss destroyed them just about instantly (please make an achievement for doing the hardest difficulty possible as a drifter, or give the poor guy powerful scaling passives to give an interesting dynamic where the start is really hard but is rewarded with the end being easier)
peak game
this is some of the most fun 9 hours i have had playing a game. its very fun and has a similar movement and fighting style to terraria. the tutorial is amazing. its not too hard at the start and you can increase the difficulty if you desire. overall its an amazing game and I'm excited to see what it has to offer in later updates
can't really recommend for singleplayer but a great game for 2-4 players I guess, also got bored after 2 runs because don't have much choices for weapons, each stage has the same things atleast couldve had a few weapon changes each map and bosses were annoying to fight don't get me wrong its a great concept 5/10 It’s cheap, but not the best among the budget options (atleast for now ).
these lords are boned
Best 5€ i've spent in years.
Very promising, hope this gets more updates.
