The most relaxing Solitaire game, featuring beautiful Regency era artwork and a romantic story. Bella is now married, and she wants to throw a tea party, help her build the garden in this sequel, and discover a buried secret of the royal family. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439388694 The artwork and soundtracks are the most beautiful things in this game; the characters are interesting too. The gameplay is similar to the previous game; the challenges are easy to achieve, but you can always replay the stage if you miss one. As usual, I played it on normal mode, but there is a higher difficulty if you are up to the challenge. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3439388897 The upgrades are useful. Sometimes, you get stuck at the last card; your only way out is to use them. To charge each upgrade, you have to keep playing and combine cards as in any Solitaire game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3166127261 Pros: +Fun addictive game. +Beautiful artwork and backgrounds. +Relaxing soundtracks. +Interesting story and new characters. +Upgrades. +Steam achievements. Cons: -Repetitive. Don't miss this one if you like Solitaire games. Whenever I play the game, I find myself drawn in and can't stop playing. Highly recommended.
Your invited to the biggest soiree of the year with many interesting, scandalous secrets to be divulged. All while enjoying a splendid game of Solitaire! Regency Solitaire II by Developer Grey Alien Games A charming and addicting solitaire game perfect for the whole family. At the beginning I had planned to save ALL my money, until I had made $50,000. Then I could get the achievement "Prudent Saver." But I misthought, it was $5,000 which is for a different achievement, "A Women of Means," and I started spending it on buying improvements and other fun stuff. So now, I'm saving my money, AGAIN, trying for that achievement! I did finally get it! There is a nice little story to go along while playing Solitaire. Including a store to purchase various upscale items for the yard or clothing accessories. The classical music is lovely and fits the game perfectly. There is a music player with your choice of 14 different songs to choose from. This is the Collector's Edition with bonus content for your added enjoyment. Includes 160 unique levels spread over 18 chapters plus 66 bonus levels. There is a nicely, detailed character summary where you can read about each character. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3416565863 Pros: * Lovely Music * Trading Cards * Bonus Content * Family Sharing * 20 Achievements * No Issues using Windows 11 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3416565765 Cons: * None Rating: 9/10 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3420254455 Final Thoughts: Relaxing and addicting solitaire game for all ages. Has a unique story, beautiful music, trading cards and achievements. Wow, it has everything, and I feel the price is reasonable! Pick up this little gem and I don't feel you will regret it! Waiting for Regency Solitaire 3 to come out, hopefully soon! Okay... Hmm hmm hmmmmmm... I still prefer the First one, but this one isn't bad at all. I thought the first one had more heart within the story itself. This one had many characters and there was one scene after another. Following one character and then we are here, and oh! We are over there now!. Okay! Eventually it all ties together... Especially if you play the "Collector's Edition" levels, but... Why was it speeding so hardcore? The story is still fine however... Just, eh, if you played the first one... But maybe it's just me. I DO like the abundance of new power ups and the backgrounds are REALLY nice! I do like me some nature scenes. I wont comment if the game is harder or not, because I literally got better at Solitaire (from playing too much of it) and now I can't tell. XD The upgrades this time though... I LOVED the room upgrades in the First one! I don't like the garden "features" itself. They all seem like they are mesh of many things in one place... Brought from different continents/countries and are just... Placed there to show off how rich and weird you are? Which is fine, but... Odd and not pleasing. If this was an "aesthetic" from back in those times? Fine... I was just grateful for the awesome power up Boosts they gave! That's it. Anything else... I mean... I can't stop playing Solitaire games, so I had to play this one. It was Relaxing and Enjoyable. I don't have to agree with everything in a game to see that it was still fine and it gave me exactly what I was looking for. Therefore... I will probably play it again... It's time to attempt "Hard Mode" anyway. *-*
What's there to do while you're waiting for Demon Souls Remaster to land on PC? Well, obviously, lose yourself in a fine plot set in Regency Britain! Help Bella orchestrate a party of her life and make sure her friends get their own happy ever after, all while laying cards on a garden table. Jane Austen approves twice!
if you've watched season 4 of Bridgerton and the sentence 'be my mistress' haunts you... well, look no further because here is the happily ever after storyline (with solitaire) for benedict and sophie (; plus if you love juicy gossips and scandals, then you will be rewarded after every level including the bonus 'Collector's Edition' of Edgerton :p
If you're played Regency Solitaire, this is largely more of the same - and that's a good thing. The art and story are sweet and light and capture the energy of this sort of story well, and the solitaire driving it all is excellent and addictive. I'd recommend starting in Hard Mode, which isn't too bad for most of the game but does ramp up to some truly puzzling scenarios when you're in the final stages.
The story sucks but the gameplay is fun enough. Skip every cutscene and you'll like the game.
Why did it take so long for a part 2? I meant to play it for an hour and lost track of time. Great solitaire game. Very challenging. Bring on part 3. 10/10.
It didn't capture me quite as much as the first one, but it was still a delight to play through. These solitaire mechanics aren't quite like normal games, especially with the various jokers and powerups, and the vines and flower pots etc. I wish that buying powerups in the garden had a little more strategy. (maybe one kind of fountain gives one power up, and another a different one, but you could only have one installed?) instead, you just power through the hands and you have enough cash to buy everything, which only makes it easier to continue. Even on Hard there wasn't *much* of a challenge. But there were a few hands (especially with goals like reach 5.0 mult, or a combo of 35) that did take more than a couple tries to lock in. Still, the main draw I think is the regency story, which is kinda corny, and hits the tropes pretty plainly. Also none of the characters are that deep and none of them fulfill any sort of antagonistic role. Still. I enjoyed it, and if you're considering it, you probably will too.
