Game has a pretty fun coordination set. hen you first start out it can be a bit tricky to keep your crew in the right spots, and having enough ammo to keep up with the onslaught of planes. It can get a bit repetitive after a while but the learning curve keeps things interesting enough to finish the campaign. For the expansion, things get turned up a few notches, having extra crew members but without the need for manual reloading. Really loved the experience though there was another learning curve keeping up with everything going on, though probably just from the extra crew. Replayed both campaigns so it definitely feels like it got easier but it was still difficult enough to surprise me occasionally. Good luck if you try to keep the same crew or plane alive!

It's definitely a game for the engineers and tinkerers, ensuring your bomber is as effective as it can be in achieving its mission, protecting your crew and coming back in one piece. good game, i refunded it because its not my type of game but it 100% is fun and deserves more attention edit: this game has had a copy on roblox that says its "inspired" but it is a EXACT copy of the game, the image, everything its all just 1 to 1.

extremely hard evan of 1st level. i understand difficulty spikes but this is not fun.

Played the tutorial and thought, this is okay. I don't really like the camera controls and the constant micro management of basics, but this could be fun. Played the actual first mission and the difficulty spike is massive. Suddenly I am getting attacked by lots of other planes and my systems are getting shot out and some of my crew is wounded and dying. The UI spams me about healing the wounded crew, but doesn't bother to explain how. I try clicking on the med kit, then clicking on the wounded person, but my crew member just climbs on top of the medical crate. My plane is now on fire. I have one of my crew grab the fire extinguisher and he successfully puts the fire out, but my wounded crew keep counting down to death while various crew members take turns wandering around and planking on the med bay or trying to repair things or reload ammo (another thing that was not explained). Meanwhile I continue getting shot up while the UI spams me about untagged fighters. There is no pause feature. I don't mind difficult games, but at least introduce me to the basic mechanics and ease me into the concepts before throwing me into the deep end. I am sure there is a way to have fun with this, but the awful tutorial and controls don't make me want to stick around to figure it out.

Bought this game on release back in 2017 and completed the campaign a few times over the years. Picked it up again a few days ago and the only things that I could say that would improve the game is some kind of workshop support as well as more risky high altitude missions (Flak, AA, and the mid to low level fighters should be able to attack you at high altitude). Though I doubt these will ever be added since the devs have moved on to other games like Space Crew and Badlands Crew. As for the DLC's they are pretty good as well, the USAAF DLC is good in my opinion mainly because its a brand new campaign in a completely different theater of the war. The B17 is enjoyable to fly, could use some more missions though. Secret weapons is great, at least for the way that I play the game, the thermal flight suits are a very easy way to fly mid to high altitude missions in the early game and the 20mm cannons are insanely good against any plane, though putting them on the bottom of the plane works best to get rid of the two engine fighters that can get below you. Overall its a 9.5 out of 10 if I had to rate it on that scale, doesn't get old despite how many times I've played it over the years and the missions don't disappoint because there is always a different outcome at the end.
