Bobo Bay

reminds me of Chao garden from Sonic 2 Adventure battle, really enjoying how relaxing it is to raise Bobos and race them and put them in brawls

Cute. Very slow pace, but I keep coming back anyway despite that normally turning me away. helps that content is paced very well, you're always on the cusp of something and are usually encountering something new.

If you have any love for Sonic Adventure's Chao Garden, then this is a love letter to that direct experience. While I wish there was some sort of action adventure to juxtapose against the softness of Bobo Bay, Bobo Bay does try to reinforce the comfiness with influences from Animal Crossing, Pokémon, and Harvest Moon. In the still very little I've played so far, this is as close as Chao Garden-like Pet Simulation as you can get.

This game is incredible. It scratches that itch that I've been having since I first played BlueGuy Expedition 2. For me this game just feels like a 10/10 even though this kind of game usually caps out at a 5 at most. Everything truly feels perfect.

If you liked the chao gardens from either sonic DX or sonic 2 battle, then youre absolutely gonna adore this Creature raising sim. It pays such a wonderful homage to the different mechanics from them evolving depending on their stats and how you raise them, to the racing and fighting minigames where different stats you invested in really show their potential, to teaching them how to do little things like draw and play instruments, dress them up, and i wont spoil anymore. You can even share a code to share your little creatures so a copy of them can join someone elses garden~ Overall i highly highly recommend!

I've been waiting for more Chao Garden, spiritual successor or otherwise, for quite awhile. Bobo Bay really captures the feel of Chao while expanding on it, making the mechanics more transparent, and smoothing out the experience. If "Chao Garden" doesn't mean anything to you Bobo Bay is a sort of virtual pet game. You get weird little guys, you enter them in competitions, and improve their stats short term while increasing their maximum potential in the long term. It's a simple and solid gameplay loop.

A charming game that achieves what the creator set out to do. It's visually pleasing to look at and it has the mechanics you remember.

Chill chao garden like game about raising cute creatures and helping to build a small town. Lots of little things to do across the game and it never really makes you rush for anything

This game is a fantastic spiritual Chao Garden successor with a lot of heart and active developers. The characters and bobos are very wholesome and it's very accessible for casual players while having a ton of depth for more hardcore fans. If you've never played the Chao Garden, the gameplay loop is essentially raising cute little guys and entering them in competitions to see how they do and win prizes. On the side there's randomized jet ski excursions to find loot, a whole town to upgrade, townsfolk to talk to, Bobo races to bet money on, the works. The developers are fantastic. I've reported a handful of bugs I've found and they were all fixed the same day I reported them. Since I bought the game there have been multiple updates with good content and gameplay improvements. They really care about their game and you can see it in the final product. Overall the game is fantastic, keep up the great work.
