About
Blood Dungeon is a feverish bullet heaven platformer from the creators of Nidhogg.
Run, jump, and climb to avoid hordes of monsters. Duck and weave between enemies. Scramble up ladders, across grates, and over chains. Walls, ceilings, and even the watery depths are your domains to master.
The dungeons contain over 100 different enemies to kill. Bats. Centaurs. Exploding Eyeballs. Some fly through walls while others walk, stick, or bounce on them. Learn their movements, outsmart them, and harvest their blood.
Increase your blood level to upgrade your build, or find chests hidden throughout the arenas.
Circulate around the various drop sites to supplement your arsenal and master each arena.
Visit the Dogmancer to pay the bone toll and unlock permanent upgrades.
Unlock nine bunkmates, each with their own weapon of choice and movement perks. Spin climbable webs as Leggy, take flight with Bug, or speed through the Dungeons as only a Skinja can. Experiment with them all!
9 unlockable playable characters with different traits and weapons
6 unlockable unique survival arenas
Over 100 enemy types
Over 100 quests to complete

This game hits for me. I like having some platforming to do. The music and sound are great, complimenting a very satisfying snappy feel to the movement.

Uhhh cant talk much. Ahhh need to get back to my next run. You should play Blood Dungeon!
This is slick!!
a good survivor type game thats well done
Not the biggest fan of the "bullet heaven" genre but this is a good one.
oh it's quite nice
Sadly didn't do it for me. Very interesting example of a game messing up the roguelike "Vamp Survivors-like" progression loop, at least for me. The upgrades range from 2x:ing the player's power early game (e.g. shot count increasing from 1->2), to increasing gold gain by 5% (aka worthless). I really wonder if I'm missing something here, cuz I can't see how anyone playtesting would ever succeed if they picked these landmines of inefficiency. And I don't see the advantage of including these terrible options, It doesn't make the good options feel better. It just feels sloppy, like someone meant to write 50% instead of 5%. Additionally, based on the short time that I played, a big problem with the core gameplay is that the auto-aiming causes lots of feel-bad moments where it's not targeting what you want. And you can't override it with the right stick, which would've alleviated a lot of my gripes with it I think. The intro video was cool though and I really like the character designs (esp. the Barbarian, he's cool). The music ramping up as the intensity increases is also neat.
great progression system and fun gameplay makes me keep coming back to this! the character variety is also top tier
