Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Came to this from Blood Bowl 2, hoping for better visuals and updated rules, but unfortunately, that's not what I found. I found the main menu UI confusing and not intuitive to use. I did quite like the visual style though. In game, the graphics look a bit odd - too HD somehow with maybe with too high contrast? It gave me slight 90's vibes, and made it all look a bit in-cohesive. The in game UI (action radial menu in particular) is bizarrely VERY hard to read. And i felt I was having to make more 'clicks' than in BB2 to do anything. All in all, a slightly frustrating experience, so I'll be sticking with Blood Bowl 2.

So this game at launch... was rough but I would say its finally in a better spot than BB2 it is also going to be freely upgraded to WARHAMMER BLOODBOWL and its going to become a living IP game like hearthstone / Magic Arena, keeping everything 1 to 1 with the tabetop rules. Also Singleplayer eternal leagues were finally added this year (i think it was this year) so if you hate MP but love BB you can still find a lot of fun here. Grab it on sale as like only 12 teams are free the rest you have to play(a lot) to unlock or pay to unlock. That's my only negative
Ultimately, this game probably deserves its current Mixed review score, not for its changes compared to previous versions but for the rampant and aggressive monetization. Overall, however, I would recommend this game on sale, especially if you have any interest in the board game, or have experience with miniatures/warhammer that would put you in a position to better enjoy the board game. In terms of the actual game, Blood Bowl is like sports-themed XCOM, except each team takes all of their turns at once, you can see all of the odds because they use dice rolls, and as soon as a character fails an action, your turn ends early. It's very swingy, often asymmetric due to the difference in teams, it's chaotic, you can start to lose (or win) severely out of the blue, but going for a long-shot pass and landing it is ecstasy. I hate sports but I love this game. Rule-wise this is up to date with the current ruleset (not at the time of writing but they will be porting it over to the new edition for free next year, something I'm shocked at regarding how the game is monetized). This makes it very convenient for experiencing, practicing, and experimenting with the game for a fraction of the physical copy. It's also a bit of a double-edged sword; while the game teaches you most of the rules, you're better off finding a copy of the tabletop game rules online and learning from there to figure out all of the nuance. Normally I don't tend to go into detail on monetization, but because it's all in-game only, it's opaque because you can't see it on the Steam storepage. Groups of 4 teams will go on sale for over half of the game's initial purchase price. While you can earn paid currency for free, it is a predatorily slow drip-feed (~20/week if you are completing every quest, so almost 10 months before you get one 750 warpstone team, off sale, to account for wiggle room missing the odd quest). Seasonally you'll get slightly more warpstone and the latest team for free through the battle pass, though I'd say it'd take 30-50h to get the team. You also get about a team's worth just for progressing through the account levels, so you can pick up a team of your choice after the first 50h. I assume this is justified by the real life teams costing more, but those have high-quality physical models you get to build, customize and hobby with, whereas here all of the skins are steep. All this to say, it's a pretty good time imo. Definitely not worth full price with the state of monetization. There are still a few performance issues and bugs, but if you've read this far and it's at a discount, it's probably worth checking out.
huge let down from blood bowl 2. feels so lack luster and devoid of any charm or life better off playing blood bowl 2 or fumbbl online
This game is terrible. Dice mechanic does not work, the UI is so bad, the lag means its like playing in the 80's using morse code. Dont bye this game, you pay $45 and then hit micro transaction hell. Love blood bowl was hoping to enjoy the game. Back to blood bowl II. - update, so game this morning saw me roll 6 ones in a row for blood lust in one turn. Yes the dice roller in this game is not faulty!!! or geared in favour for the AI.
This game blows. $30 and you then have to pay for the complete team roster?? crazy. charge for cosmetics, sure but charging for """DLC""" s that shold be in the base game shows insane greed. Additionally the controlls are clunky, UI sucks, and the game doesnt even run smooth on my device. Rigged dice roles are insanely frustrating. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
Half a game - the rest is a live service nightmare. I love BB2, but this is ugly, has a terrible UI, has a battlepass (why FFS), and locks at least half the teams behind paywalls. I was looking at this to get updated rules over BB2, but this is just a downgrade in every other way.
