Blood Bowl 2 smashes Warhammer and American football together, in an explosive cocktail of turn-based strategy, humour and brutality, adapted from Games Workshop’s famous boardgame.

I’m a former player of the original Blood Bowl; I wanted to try out the second game, though I was also considering the third. If you’re new to the franchise, it’s worth a look—why not? But if you played the first one, give this a pass. I played a few matches to test the new races, followed by two proper games. In just those two matches, the AI succeeded at every single dice roll—pulling off moves with only a 15% chance of success and getting three "attacker down" results, even when we had a 3-to-1 numerical advantage and superior individual strength no matter what. I’m not just complaining out of spite—I actually won both matches thanks to my experience with the game and the fact that I was playing my favorite race—but a new player would have been absolutely crushed. To top off the "delightful" experience, one of my players died permanently, and I didn't have enough money to buy a decent replacement. I’ve only played two matches—that’s the situation I’m already in. Everything feels off; you can’t even view detailed player skills during a match, or check perks like bribes, apothecaries, etc. (Is it a bug or an oversight?) I’m not opposed to progress, but at least make sure it’s an improvement, not a step backward.

I liked it
Good, old fashioned table top like fun.
ce jeu est fun !!!
Basically Blood Bowl but in a video game, if you like one you'll like the other.

it is a good game.
This game is incredibly fun game. You can murder the entire opposing side. RNG can be a crucial thing for a lot of the Big Guy units.
Super clunky! Took me 40 minutes to get it running. Had to add it as a non-steam game otherwise it would only run Benchmark. Looks worse than PS1 graphics. My GameBoy Color titles look better than this. I am running it on a Mac (M4). Maybe that's the problem but don't claim it runs on Mac if it doesn't. Crashed/siezed up often. Tutorial would've been nice. I have to choose what actions I can do carefully because I expect it to crash at any point.
