Reviews
Its fun haflings round a sandwich

Beautifully designed replacement for the boardgame for those evenings you can not play the game physically with a human. The in game videos and "live" commentary by the commentators (an ogre and a vampire) are mildly amusing. I wholeheartedly recommend this as the replacement for the real thing with a human player. However DO NOT buy this game if you want to play solo at least against teams of near equal skills and Team Rate. The artificial "intelligence" sucks, it barely finds the opponent's end zone with a ball carrier or identifies opposing players who are threatening to score a TD. I've played a few dozen games against the AI and lost only once (and that was against the Chaos All Start with Team Rate of 300 something). In all of my near equal TR games the AI has managed to score just a few TD's with elf or skaven teams against my near zero mobility teams, and even then usually after I've managed to get double skulls in a block very early in the turn. The AI poses no threat to a player who has mastered even the basic tactical skills of the game.
A masterpiece of madness, dice, and broken dreams. Blood Bowl 2 is what happens when American football meets Warhammer, then gets repeatedly punched in the face by Nuffle’s divine cruelty. Every match is a mix of tactical genius and utter disaster — and somehow, it’s beautiful. I main Chaos, because watching a Minotaur send an Elf into orbit never gets old. The brutality, the tension, and the unpredictable dice rolls make every game feel like a mini epic. You don’t play Blood Bowl to win — you play to survive and to laugh at your own misfortune. The AI is questionable, the RNG is evil, and sometimes the referee clearly worships Tzeentch… but when your Chaos Warriors crush the line and your Beastmen score that perfect touchdown, all is forgiven. Praise Nuffle. Embrace Chaos. Recommended — part sport, part strategy, all glorious suffering.
Good, honest fun.
Great game!

EDIT: It is now basically a year later and the controller support for this game is still not working. Please go visit GoG instead because I assume the controller support is not broken in that version, if you plan to play it with a controller this version WILL not work. Dead Controller Support, used to work when I first played it for about 40 hours, 4 hours of troubleshooting doesn't get the controller working again. I suspect steam's "Controller Update" broke it. Feel free to comment if you got a ps4 controller working in some way with detailed instructions.
