I learned how to play the tabletop game through this video game!
fun way to get familiar with the mechanics of the game, though singleplayer options leave a lot to be desired

This game is not for people who don't lose well.
Game is entirely unwinnable in the league mode

Short and sweet, personally a fan, shame about the third game. 7/10
its a very clean port of the tabletop game.
Firstly, I do not understand what I'm doing. It's the first game like this I've ever played (the take a turn / dice battles) so it's just a massive learning curve. The game itself has some good cut scenes and looks nice, multiplayer with friends is fun especially once you can start picking up what's going on
I've played this game for 16 hours and have yet to understand how it's considered fun. It's entirely based on what team you pick. If you pick Humans and you fight Minotaurs, you die. They have the abilities. If you pick anyone and face Halflings its a breeze. It's not really a game it's just a "Check out which race beats which in an obnoxiously slow RPG Football game". I genuinely do not understand the idea of gameplay they chose. Amazing concept, beyond terrible execution.
