Button combos certainly take some adjustment both in gameplay and control mapping, but otherwise the singleplayer modes are fairly entertaining. I picked up for 90% off; get this on sale instead of full price. Bonus points for Cave Story license!

honestly it's a very bare bones basic game, though one thing I would suggest changing is the skill naming, as you have Light Heavy Special and character move so in mission mode and training mode it can get a bit confusing you can tell there is a lot of love with the Ips but it feels like a bare basic mugen mod improvement definitely can be done to the UI as well as making the story mode a bit more detailed rather than just throw a couple fights in and the fight a big bad boss we don't really know the importance of all and all a good purchase for the price of $2 and I suggest you buy it to help the creators either tweak the game to make it reach the worth of the original $20 since it's a great idea and the character designs are amazing it just falls a bit flat in the tinier areas, make it more robust and have a sense of charm to it

Achei meio mais ou menos, por mais que eu tenha jogado muito pouco achei que faltou um pouco de sal nele, a maioria dos personagens que vi achei eles sem graça, tudo bem que nem todo personagem de um jogo precisa der um design complexo ou algo do tipo mas nesse jogo foi personagens femininas bastante sexualizada, principalmente uma cavaleira loira que quase nem têm armadura nela direito estando praticamente quase nua, e ainda tem fisica nos peitos das personagens, os masculinos são meio meh, os cenários são feios pra ser sincero pelo menos maioria que vi, me desculpa mais os designs das barras de vida e tempo são muito feias. Por outro lado o jogo e leve têm crossovers com personagens de outros jogos como Isacc e Shovel knight, e a intro dele e bem legalzinha com uma animação legal, a trilha até onde vi parece ok. Resumo GONNER!!!!

I brought this game on sale and that will be why I would consider it a worth while purchase. For what I paid for the game that being £1.50 I would say I got a decent amount of enjoyment out of it. There is a story mode whilst not being the most in depth or particularly most interesting plot adds flavour to the characters in the game. The amount of mileage this game will give you will all depend on if you have someone else to play with because the online community is pretty much dead or at least dormant for the times I tried to play. I would say pick this game up whilst it's on sale if it interest you and you really want a 2d fighter you might've overlooked on release.

straight up ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. its on the same sluggish engine as saizensen's other outings and largely uses the same mechanics. i don't care for the lack of motion inputs but it makes the input buffer a lot less intrusive than blade arcus. theres some fun to be with the mechanics, its not a bad game in that regard. character roster is pretty dope and everyone has some interesting moves, but everyone has like 15 universal command normals.
