I've been looking for a real time tactics game and this is scratching that itch. I have more control over what I and my team do. There is a lot more depth than at first glance with weapon selection, upgrades, and customizing to your play style. Being able to coordinate with friends online has made this game an absolute blast. My only criticism thus far is that the enemies seem to hear you no matter what you do. So even if you try to go a more stealthy route, the moment you enter a room or adjacent room the enemies book it to your location.
Recently got a SteamOS handheld and chanced upon this gem. I've been looking high and low for a top down shooter that balances realism and arcadey-fun. Something to scratch that itch to relieve the days of Housemarque's Dead Nation. And does game is just that. The NPCs, both Ally and Enemy, are surprisingly smart. I really enjoyed playing the single player. But I'll be roping in my brothers for some fun. I wish this game gets more exposure so we can get more content. Zombie mode would be absolutely stellar.
A solid fun game with friends. Challenging but good. Good and intuitive game mechanics. Nice art style. Smooth playing. Exceeded my expectation. Everyone should give it a go. Hope this game can get more exposure and support.
It's a fun shooter.
Gioco Semplice, carino ma soppratutto Divertente che è una cosa ormai rara. nessun Bug degno di nota. aspetto nuove missioni!!!
Found this when searching for a good top down military shooter. Looks very promising! What's already there is really good too.
Very realistic top-down mil-sim. Playing on the hardest difficulty is challanging, but not impossible.
Simple but fun game. Good sound effects. Lots of different scenarios
Game has a lot of potential, quite fun and challenging. Has a lot of bugs too tho I hope it things get patched so we can enjoy the game without the errors
GOOD:
Blacklist Brigade is very solidly made as far the nuts and bolts go. AI squadmates aren't glitchy and respond to orders in a timely fashion, with tight pathfinding. Everything behaves as it should. Multiplayer is smooth as silk and again, no glitchyness. Controls are tight and straightforward, there is even character progression and classes with unique abilities.
BAD:
My biggest complaint is that the game is SO VISUALLY BORING. Everything looks like basic assets made to be used as a placeholder. Animations are uninspired and floaty. The menu UI is barely even placeholder status. It couldn't be more plain. This game could reach new heights if it was given a visual overhaul, because the bare bones are so, so solid.
