Игра сама неплохая, но геймплей и повествование не моё
Best OST ever composed for a video game. No OST has made me feel this emotional and heart pounding than this. Absolutely phenomenal work from Joel Nielsen. I recommend this game in general too. The alien combat is really fun but I will say the HECU combat is pretty lackluster and bad. Play the original Half-Life first I say before playing this. This is more of a alternate take on Half-Life 1 rather than a definitive way to play it.

This is all my opinion, I am not anywhere in this reveiw trying to state a fact or anything, and I still appreciate the effort that has gone into this game and the absolutely incredible graphics. To be completely honest, I can't really recommend this game over the original half-life. The original half-life had so much charm and jankiness that makes half-life good, but this game removes it. Also the scientist voice acting is nowhere near as good as it was in the og game. Granted I didn't get that far in, but it didn't do a good job of hooking me into the game or the story. And the barnacle death sounds are straight ripped from the original game and just sound so out of place because all other sound doesn't sound bitcrushed or anything. I do appreciate the achievements though.

its a good game. it really adds to the story of half life 1. it makes the game really feel like a tragic disaster while maintaining the action. goated soundtracks btw. does have a tendency to crash tho
