Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 31 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Should just call the game GrindCraft bc thats mostly what you do. As you grind for hours on end the grind gets worse. Uninstalled
This is, in fact, possibly the perfect game for people with attention disorders or similar neurodivergence. Hear me out. It's got idle elements but isn't a true idler, just enough for you to decide if you want to queue up something and put on a video or if you want to go run around doing something more active. The visuals are unique and fun and there's a lot of novelty in exploring the world. The community is the most helpful and cooperative I've ever been a part of, and usually I like the ~ idea ~ of an MMORPG community more than the reality. It's legitimately fun to run around and see the cool things people are doing and building, or the remnants of what people have done and left behind. The early grind seems intimidating but truly isn't that bad, and the community is eager to help out whether you try to go it alone/in a small group or if you want to join up with a bigger city first. (I did the former but would recommend the latter, but you're also able to be a part of multiple communities). Now, with that being said, it's not for everyone. There is a lot of grind. Up until I started the game I'd be the first to tell you I hate a grind, but the balance of second-monitor-ability and my own flighty attention span has made it pretty reasonable. If I feel like only half paying attention, I can queue up a long craft and do something else. If I want to more actively grind, I can head out and hunt or sail or so on. Even so, I can see how it wouldn't be suitable for some people. There is also a certain amount of "FOMO" that can hit. If you're a "collect it all" type, this might not suit you unless you're willing to invest insane time and resources. It's a game that, like life to a degree, encourages specializing. There is a big grind through each skill path, and if you lock in on a few, you will have a more successful time generally than if you try and do everything. If you want to get all the best of the best things across all the skill levels, it's a sort of unimaginable commitment in terms of sheer time. But that's by design - incredibly rare or high skill etc. trinkets and so on are not supposed to be broadly attainable and the game itself through design and intention encourages specialization from the jump. If that doesn't work for you - and it might not - then I'd look elsewhere. My final note is regarding the dev team. I've been consistently impressed with their ability to balance the feedback of the players with their own vision. The main dev does frequent livestreams for the community, discussing roadmaps, playtesting features, reading through feedback and explaining decisions in real time. I've been pleasantly surprised and impressed by both the clarity of their responses (explaining features intended to add and why they haven't been yet, or where roadblocks have popped up unexpectedly, or why they won't explore certain features or adjust certain paths) and with the strength of their vision for the game. Overall, I can see how it isn't a game for everyone. However, I would strongly encourage you to give it a try, because it could very well be an excellent game for you, as it has been for me.

I have 48hrs on this game went away for couple weeks now the game wont launch waste of time and money made a ticket and never herd anything back
It pains me, but can't really recommend it. It's a beautiful game, world, art, ambience, etc. Open world building is great. But that's about where it ends. It faces quite a few fundamental issues. The cookie cutter grind. Everyone is essentially forced to do the same grind for the same things. And it ends up being just not fun. Not much point to it either. The only real diversification between people is cosmetics. The controls are frustrating. Constantly clicking on random things while moving so instead of moving your character goes to harvest whatever. The pathfinding freaks out a lot. It's just not well implemented. Also could use camera push via mouse on edge of screen instead of using keyboard for camera. All the npc's are mostly static and just pop up generic text convo. No animations, no voice over, no real interesting interaction with them. With all the technology we have access to nowadays npc should be way more dynamic and interactive. They should have personalities. Not much variety in the content. Limited mobs. Reskinned resources. And the resource gathering is very boring and cookie cutter. Just basic click and wait. Not interactive or dynamic at all. The economy isn't much of an economy and never will be with the way things are currently structured... Have to constantly grind to maintain holdings/buildings maitenance fee's. Lose everything if you forget to or have irl responsibilities that sidetrack you. They really need to rethink quite a few things. Overall it looks appeasing but feels like a MVP mmo demo. I hope they can save it. That said, the tech behind it is the real win. STDB is one of the greatest things to come along for game dev in quite a long time.
I have multiple accounts and thousands of hours invested in this game. The game itself is fun, but the way the development team handles toxic behaviour is extremely disappointing. I’m not talking about simple trash talk or verbal disagreements. I’m talking about players being bullied out of the game, prevented from progressing, and targeted through behaviour that has been reported repeatedly—while seemingly facing little to no consequence. Even more concerning, the reporting system appears vulnerable to abuse, allowing groups of players to mass-report others and use it as another form of harassment. At the time of writing this review, the game is averaging around 500 players, and these problems are already this significant. That should be a serious warning sign. I genuinely regret investing as much time into this game as I did. It had a lot of potential, but the execution and direction have gone in a direction I can no longer support. There are plenty of other games worth your time.
BitCraft pulls you in by letting you be whoever you want. Spend your days as a fisherman, blacksmith, hunter, forager, builder, trader or simply wander the world discovering what catches your interest. There's no single path to success, and that's what makes it so enjoyable. The world is your oyster, and every player helps shape it through the towns they build, the economy they create and the stories they leave behind. It's a refreshing take on the MMO genre that rewards patience, community and carving out your own place in a living world. I will always come back to this game and I hope the community grows, as this is what this game requires to thrive.
The changes made to fishing are not good. You can no longer farm bait fish and just afk. It requires you to micro every 20 seconds or 2 minutes as they are constantly respawning. Ocean fishing has become the same way, if you're not actively clicking every 10 seconds you miss out on a ton of fish. I cannot recommend the game as they don't seem to take any kind of feedback and just make changes on a whim. The game does not value your time. The game suffers from a ton of QoL features and has unncessary friction like not having auto run / tab targetting (appears in settings but it does not work), you can't set personal markers on the map.
Early access & grindy but one will go away the other is part of the game experience. I love it personally.
