Pros: The game runs without major crashes, indicating a stable base. Its core concept is interesting and could evolve into an engaging game play experience with further development. Cons: Combat System: While functional, the combat system lacks the polish and depth one would expect at this price point. It's a bit rough around the edges, which is not uncommon in new games but does impact the overall enjoyment. Generic Design: The heavy use of common or free assets, such as uMMORPG, results in a game that feels too familiar and lacks originality. This reliance is particularly evident in the game’s visual and gameplay elements, which struggle to stand out from the crowd. Playability and Bugs: While the game is generally playable, it's marred by a range of bugs and glitches that can detract from the overall experience. For instance, a notable issue occurs with certain skills, such as one that's supposed to teleport the player behind an enemy. Instead of functioning as intended, this skill can sometimes glitch and send the player underground, leading to confusion and frustration. Additionally, the looting mechanics, which are a core aspect of gameplay, feel somewhat clunky and unrefined. These elements don't always respond as smoothly as one would expect, affecting the fluidity and satisfaction of the game. Such issues, while not uncommon in new releases, are significant enough to impact the enjoyment and immersion in the game world. In conclusion, the game shows promise but you can tell it's on an early stage of development. The foundation is there, but it needs more originality, better gameplay mechanics, and some bug fixes to truly shine. At its current state and price, I would recommend potential buyers to wait for future updates or consider purchasing it during a sale.

interesting game.... no real direction but decent build beginnings. Could be great if it was toned a little better. Better than the day before.
Rock solid capturing of the 90s mmo feel bugs and all, really takes me back....... oh the days... it has great room to grow but has enough to capture me. highly recommend this would be an absolute gem once the player base grows.
Haven't been playing long but got some HARD nostalgia vibes and the game itself brought me back. Sure the combat isn't top notch modernist sword combat you see in AAA titles. But it's what belongs in this game and it's great. And I'm already looking forward to all the secrets and bosses I know are in here. Excited to check out more of this. And the Dev stopped in to let us know he was resetting the server. I'd give him the $20 just for that.
Grudge is a great game in the making. There is a lot of good ideas in this game and I have been having a great time. It reminds me of an RTS like warcraft 3 but in MMO form playing as one of the heros and building up your character and town as you play.
This game is pretty bare bones for now. I've been logging in daily and spending some time in it exploring by myself learning a bit, and going to their discord for any questions. As noted in the game description, It is a solo dev handling a big project of an MMO and it is listed as early access. Plenty is bound to change as my review comes at a time before marketing and an expected BIG update. With that out of the way, I enjoy the game, I enjoy what is currently here, as others have stated it has that old early Y2K MMO feel. With it being bare bones at my time of playing there is a lack of quests leaving me plenty of time to explore and learn the mechanics. Skills are bound to level of weapon you have which i find very unique, like a level 1 Bow cant fire a volley of arrows, presumably because it was of shoddy quality, Youre not locked into a specific class as Skills are based on the weapon you have equipped. Dungeons and caves and monuments to explore, When i say bare bones i dont mean the game is barren (besides player population) it has the basics and enough to keep me here, i enjoy the fact resources aren't highlighted, i was so happy i could pick the seemingly random blue flower with red thorns with no queue to, just out of my curiosity. It gave that sense of exploration a lot of games have taken away by holding your hand everywhere. You can mine, cut wood, fish and harvest plants, find some pets as a drop build an open world guild fort its a pretty decent sandbox at the moment. My mention of lack of player base is not meant to deter you from the game as i recommend it and do enjoy my solo time, but more of an urge for you to buy it to support the dev, and be apart of something new. Im sure a guy like this would be very open to public suggestions through discord or more formal means of communication.
Maybe that game have potential , but its way too early to ask for any money for it , very very VERY early stage. How funny it is to tag a game as early accses but then comment that i played only 0.1 hour. maybe thats becouse your game has nothing to offer. combat is none existed , u try to pick wood or stone and u dont get more then 1 in your inv. [even that u try multiple times]. e q movement system that also have q as a quick craft slot feels like you havnt put a little be of thinking to how player will handle a screen popping into his movement. sadly , this is not worth even playing for free.
This game is a banger, best thing on gods green earth, I would give scorge every cent I have if I could
