The 3 main known sources of threat are:
▪ The Blight: The origin of the Blight is a mystery as ancient as the Light of Creation itself. When a Lugh — or any other creature — is covered by the Shadow of Ruin, that creature takes on the Blight. And in extreme cases, beings that contract the Blight transform into monstrous, violent versions of themselves. Through this, Lughs can become corrupted.
▪ The Heralds of Ruin: They can be considered a group of cultists who attempt to channel the Shadow of Ruin to destroy the world. There are rumors claiming that elite members of the Heralds can control Corrupted Lughs, in the same way a Lugher controls a normal Lugh.
▪ The Masked Wanderer: Many rumors tell of a man wearing a white mask and a black cloak. He appears near ruins or where unstable crystals erupt with raw energy. He avoids direct contact, observing from afar, but leaves enigmatic marks: symbols carved into stone, runes that seem to contain fragments of earthly writing.
