If you wake up each morning and take 11 Adderall then this game is for you! I don't take any Adderall so my brain is too slow to be good at this game and therefore, I do not recommend (unless you take 11 Adderall each day).
As people say this is the most Challenging Game in the series, I will agree it is, and that's what I loved about this, I been playing BIT.TRIP CORE since WiiWare. Was it fun in the beginning? No? but learning it through the way you will get the hang of it. But I may come off as bias, but I love this game, I love the patterns, I love how challenging it is.
My least favorite of the BIT.TRIP series, but it's still alright. Anyways haha funny bombs go boom boom boom
God i have always loved the ost to this game... the game... ehhhh not so much lol. it's an interesting concept, really cool abstract approach to rhythm based games... but it's a bit... it can get messy lol. it's fine when you get the hang of it.. but its more of a stray in regard to beat and runner in the sense of accessibility. it takes a lot more effort and patience to get into the groove of it, even then it's not like those where you can "first time complete" a session after learning the mechanics and... "level layout"(in a more abstract way lol, lacking of a better phrase here). in runner, after a few levels you can get into a trance and complete levels on your first try if your... "in it" lol. this is more abstract visually and a lot harder to read as the stage progresses... so I can easily recommend it for the soundtrack and the novelty of trying gameplay wise... but it's not a great game really. well... in the sense of fun or engagement. it is cool though lol... if thats of any value. YES, if you buy the bundle... NO, if you just buy the game... (though i think oddly enough the game comes with the ost in the folder without buying the ost, i could be mistaken though... i have it but it says i dont own the ost... im listening to it as im writing this soooo yeah... i have no idea whats happening with this ost thing lol. probably an oversight)
I've got 65h clocked on the WiiWare version of this game, so it's fair to say this is one of my favourite entries in the BIT.TRIP series! Great to have this on PC now where I can play it in full HD and let those incredible colours properly sear my eyeballs! The thumping soundtrack is great, and getting a perfect or near perfect score is soooooooooo satisfying! This game is pretty tough, and if you're not interested in pattern learning it's probably not for you, but it's one of my favourite rhythm action games I've ever played!
Me encanta mucho BIT.TRIP CORE
This game is challenging in all the right ways. The soundtrack is lovely, and the game is simple and intuitive. It really does remind me of a cabinet style arcade game, and I quite like that. The visuals are interesting, if a bit distracting, and some levels make it very hard to see what is actually going on. The achievements are actually fun to hunt for. I am not a big achievement hunter myself, but I find myself wanting to beat these. Overall a very simple game and a great addition to the Bit.Trip series.
aa
Every Bit.Trip game has a different take on the rhythm genre and control schemes, and this one tickles my brain in a way that none of the others come even close to.
I don't know what they were thinking with this.
