BioShock is a shooter unlike any you've ever played, loaded with weapons and tactics never seen. You'll have a complete arsenal at your disposal from simple revolvers to grenade launchers and chemical throwers, but you'll also be forced to genetically modify your DNA to create an even more deadly weapon: you.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 21 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

After finally sitting down and properly finishing BioShock, I can see why it is so widely regarded as a classic. THE GOOD The gameplay is thoroughly enjoyable, with a great variety of weapons, plasmids and upgrades that give you plenty of freedom in how you approach encounters. The plasmid system in particular is excellent, and choosing which abilities to invest in can make different playthroughs feel quite different. The gunplay can occasionally feel a little clunky, but the variety of tools more than makes up for it. Rapture is also an incredible setting. The art style and atmosphere are fantastic, while the world building does an excellent job of making the city feel like a place that existed before you arrived. I especially liked how much of the narrative is delivered through audio logs, allowing you to piece together the history and downfall of Rapture while exploring it at your own pace. The characters are also exceptionally well written, with figures like Andrew Ryan and Atlas standing out particularly well. The famous twist is exceptionally well executed too. Even knowing what is coming beforehand, the way it is presented and woven into the gameplay still makes it effective. THE BAD There are some technical issues that occasionally took me out of the experience. The mouse controls feel somewhat unbalanced, some sound effects occasionally fail to play correctly, and there are random momentary stutters that I couldn't eliminate despite trying various fixes. I also think the final hour is easily the weakest part of the game. The pace feels rushed, and the final boss is a fairly generic encounter that doesn't live up to the quality of what came before it. Despite these issues, BioShock is an exceptional game. Its atmosphere, world building and flexible gameplay systems make it an experience that has aged remarkably well. 9/10 - A game that is rightly hailed as a classic.

Jogo bom da peste porem dou nota 7 porque ele fica meio chato depois de matarmos andrew Ryan e tambem por esta ser a versão antiga e alem de não ter nuvem tambem não tem conquista porem o jogo ainda é muito legal, vale apena
BioShock is still one of the greatest narrative shooters ever made, but replaying it now reveals some annoyances. The art direction, atmosphere, and world-building are second to none - Rapture remains a hauntingly beautiful nightmare, and the opening hours are as gripping as ever. Its philosophical underpinnings and iconic moments still pack a punch, especially for first-time players. But on replay, particularly when the story beats are already known, some of the game’s pacing issues become more glaring. Far too often, you’ll find yourself stuck behind a locked door, forced to stand and wait for audio logs or radio chatter to finish before you can proceed. This is fine on a first-play but on a replay it becomes tedious when you just want to explore, fight, or move on. The gameplay is still solid, and the plasmid/gun combo system offers fun combat flexibility, but it’s hard not to wish for a skip dialogue option or to simply move while it plays. BioShock remains essential but its seams show more the second time around and many years later.
It's almost perfect. The world you explore is so fascinating and the tapes you pick up to learn more are super intriguing. Bioshock uses gameplay perfectly to tell it's story in a way a movie never could. The levels are outstanding, especially the Sander Cohen one. The graphics also hold up too for a game from 2007. I guess the gameplay could be better. I don't think it utilizes plasmids the best and hacking is a pain (everyone knows this). Even still, the game is a straight banger. What an original opinion! 9/10
