I really love game

I already played through this game a few years back without problem. Just started playing again the other day and got to the level where you have to take a picture of 3 splicers. Got the first 2 and just went through the level figuring I'd run into the last one eventually. Spent a good hour or so 100% everything in the level leaving no corner untouched. Looked it up and it turns out I ran into a hard lock where the last spawn doesn't trigger in room 5 and the only way to fix is to restart the level. At least this remaster is better than the mess of the oblivion one but never playing this again regardless. Just save the headache and play the original.

Bioshock is a game I played a ton of when I was a young teen, not too long after it came out, and I remember getting it in disc from on the PC from Walmart. I decided to play it again after over a decade and I was not disappointed, this game is a blast. For the time, plasmids were a unique addition to gameplay, giving a battlemage-like feel to the gameplay. My only gripe with the gameplay is that most situations can be dealt with the first weapon and first plasmid. Shock 'em, then beat them over the head with the wrench. Rinse and repeat. This also made the gameplay fairly easy, I never felt in danger from any enemy on Normal difficulty. I had to force myself to use other plasmids and weapons. Although the crossbow became my GOAT by the end. The world of Rapture is fantastic. Even almost 20 years later, the ocean looks beautiful and lived in. The Art Deco look given to Rapture makes the world feel old, as it's supposed to be, but classy. Something the elites of post-WW2 advanced nations would want to live in. The music adds to it and got me into easy listening / oldies back when I was a kid. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone play this game. It's a relatively quick game, taking me less than 12 hours to do almost everything, including watching the included director's commentary, but 100% worth the time. You can also grab it real cheap on a sale.
