Enjoy school life, funny scenes and a dash of romance in this visual novel! This story is about a group of friends in their high school years. In this short story for everyone, you take on the role of Jake, a completely average student. Do schoolwork, laugh at funny situations, help Jake's friends... or not? It's your choice! (All by developer) Now you can't add anything more from the game content. You go to school for a few years and experience several events. That's it. Which leads to multiple endings. One session lasted less than an hour for me. Read everything, of course, plus there are often recurring background images with characters who often wear the same thing. There is no gameplay in the truest sense of the word, just reading and looking when something moves. Is well drawn and the story is rather superficial. Still entertaining and there are even some fun elements. I can barely see the thumbs up. What bothered me are the allusions to the development of the game itself. You can write something like that on the shop page as info, but it doesn't belong in the game, in my opinion. Barely recommended. Freut euch auf das Schulleben, witzige Szenen und eine Prise Romanze in diesem Visual Novel! Diese Geschichte handelt von einer Gruppe von Freunden in ihren Highschool-Jahren. In dieser kurzen Erzählung für jedermann schlüpfst du in die Rolle von Jake, einem komplett durchschnittlichen Schüler. Erledige Schulaufgaben, lach' über komische Situationen, hilf Jakes Freunden … oder auch nicht? Du hast die Wahl! (Alles vom Entwickler) Nun dem kann man vom Spielinhalt nix mehr Hinzufügen. Du gehst einige Jahre zur Schule und erlebst mehrere Ereignisse. Das war es schon. Was zu mehreren Enden führt. Ein Durchgang dauerte kaum über eine Stunde bei mir. Alles gelesen natürlich, dazu gibt es sich häufig wiederholende Hintergrundbilder mit Charaktären die häufig das gleiche an haben. Ein Gameplay im Sinne des Wortes gibt es ja nicht, einfach nur Lesen und zu schauen wenn sich was bewegt. Ist gut gezeichnet und die Geschichte ist doch eher sehr oberfläschlich. Dennoch kurzweilig und es gibt sogar einige Spasselemente. Gerade so noch sehe ich den Daumen nach oben. Was mich gestört hat, sind die Anspiellungen auf die Entwicklung des Spieles selbst. Sowas kann man auf die Shopseite als Info schreiben aber es gehört nicht ins Spiel, meiner Ansicht nach. Knapp Empfohlen. [h1]Either just shovel ware put out to make some quick cash or just an unexperienced developer[/h1] Story is mediocre at best, sometimes seems like it has been written by a child, but also has some fun puns, especially with Emma breaking the 4th wall. But more importantly the mediocre story is held back by the really bad story developement with huge time jumps after every few lines of dialogue. Art style is a matter of taste, but charcter design also looks kind of cheap and needed some more work put into, before using the assets in the final product. Took me only about 60 minutes to complete and about 80 to 100% with all achievements. [b]Really not worth the full price. Only buy if you really want it and wait for a high discount[/b]

Two person visual novel project. Story is your typical male-oriented high school life and romance plot. Two girls, lots of available choices and multiple different endings. Character visuals are a little in the unpolished side and there are no CGs, and the plot is flat, blunt and short, with rather fast story and character progression. The generic music is passable but repetitive and not memorable by any means. Nonetheless, a good attempt by what it is basically a two person team, and is almost appropriately priced for the content it offers - best to try to get it on a sale though. 5/10

Jake's Love Story is a very good visual novel game with a beautiful story. The graphics are nice and the soundtrack is Chill and relaxing... I recommend it. 💗💗💗

Jogo muito divertido, artes bem "simples" mas bonitas, tirou risadas sinceras minha enquanto jogava, me diverti bastante com os diversos finais que o jogo possui e se você gosta de jogos neste estilo, vale muito a pena testar, recomendo bastante

Typical high school romance without any of the filler. Each important decision has a lead in then consequences. Decent amount of choices. No gay option.

This game opened my eyes. The characters were well written and felt like human beings i felt like i was talking to real people and the music just made everything so much better. By the end of my play through i fell in love with these characters and gained feelings that i never thought i would. i wish i had the experience jake had. i 100% this game because of how amazing it was i hope that one day we see a sequel. 10/10

I gave up this game after less that one hour. The errors in grammar and spelling were just too grinding: I couldn't cope. Maybe it bothered me more because English is not my first language either. It got way too distracting and the story was not captivating enough to make up for it. Better luck to the devs next time, when I would recommend they get a proof reader.
