Beyond: Two Souls

Meh, I'm torn by this one. If I treat it as an interactive movie where my choices matter, it's a fine product, but there is not much from the gaming perspective. It throws some random sequences at you, where you gotta act, but very often those choices are kinda limited. I have 4 hours and I played it in like 4-5 different sessions. It doesn't keep me playing, bores me quite quickly. So I will give it a positive review for the story, cause it's kinda cool, but I'd definitely give it a negative review for gameplay. All in all, this is my first and last cinematic gaming experience. Not my cup of tea.

Great Story Driven video game

Another masterpiece by David Cage. "Beyond: Two Souls" is an emotional journey that explores almost every aspect of human life—love, loss, friendship, family, sacrifice, and the consequences of our choices. It constantly reminds you that every action has a price, making many of the decisions genuinely difficult and forcing you to think twice before making them. The relationships between the characters, especially the bonds of family and friendship, are beautifully written and feel natural throughout the story. The performances make it easy to connect with Jodie's journey from beginning to end. The soundtrack complements every emotional moment perfectly, and the visuals still hold up remarkably well, creating a cinematic experience that immerses you in the story. I don't understand why this game receives so much criticism. From my perspective, it delivers a compelling narrative with memorable characters and an emotional impact that stays with you long after the credits roll. Overall: 9/10

in my still to be completed cage marathon, this is easily the worst so far for committing the cardinal sin of being boring. at least fahrenheit was utterly insane to the point of being hilarious, heavy rain was grounded enough and was derivative enough to be passable. this game is just dull throughout I cannot wait to see this writer handle race issues in detroit LMAOOOOO

My second favorite game by Quantic Dream. Tragic, emotional and a bit supernatural. Very worth your time. Get in a sale and enjoy your stay.
