Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 31 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Right when i started the game looked good, the animations are great, and having controller support without steam input is a great improvement! Blocking is a nice thing to have too! So many improvements from the first game that are amazing! 10/10 Sidenote: I agree there is a lot of points that need polish like menus staying on screen and not being able to exit it without closing the game, falling off the map and having to close the game to fix it (Example: https://www.twitch.tv/catchingfire3_/clip/ElatedSavoryOctopusDBstyle-zhWJuctkhn65F4yz), getting stuck by rolling under a gap (happened to me in the first game as well), and bad level layout (I've thought so many times that there was a possible secret area but got stuck). I got this Beholgar 2 for free but before i played Beholgar 2 i bought and beat Beholgar for 1) interest in the game and 2) comparison making. I enjoyed playing Beholgar and so far i am enjoying Beholgar 2! Both games are fun but different in some way! Beholgar felt and looked like NES while Beholgar 2 feels and looks like SNES! Still a 10/10 imo
Congratulations are in order for making a game that's even worse than original game.
This is a bit of a tough one. The graphics are pretty great, the story is fun, the whole thing drips of atmosphere and the gameplay is simple, but fun. But boy, the bugs! SO MANY BUGS! This game really needs another quality pass or two. Really, with less bugs, this could be an absolute Indy classic to easily recommend to others. As it stand though, if the style and gameplay speak to you, try it, it's fun. But also be prepared to fall out of the level, get stuck in menu, restart at the wrong checkpoints, broken animations and so much more. And always holding a sword, no matter which weapon you selected. That one kind of annoyed me the most, probably because it intruded on the barbarian fantasy which otherwise feels so great. Oh, also, dev should make an achievement out of collecting treasure chest. Its fun finding those, but you really don't need to, so that would be great!
Good lord, what can i say about this game ? that it has a ton of bugs ? that u can get trapped in the level and have to restart ? that it is designed in a way that makes no sense or anything and have to run in circles just to figure out where to go next ? and the best of all, i know it is a lot of hard work, but imagine using a spear but u still walk around with the basic sword and only swap to the spear or any other weapon as u attack, how lazy can a dev be ? and yet, it is a fantastic throwback and a nice upgrade , the first one felt like a c64 game and now this jumped into the amiga realm. also, note, some bosses are for the books, the concubine for example is one of the best animated bosses i seen and even the giant lizard....really good stuff. get it on deep sale, short game, fun but aggravating, especially when a small moth can stun lock you.
really enjoyed this game, better than first, not to hard
