10/10 Cute, good, and rather deep. A lovely aesthetic. Honestly, everything about this game was wonderful.
I was totally addicted to this game for a few days.

Beglitched is a great game. Most of its puzzles are difficult enough to leave you thinking about the solution for some minutes, but at the same time they aren't hard to the point of making you feel like you need a break. I think of Beglitched as a game of intuition that gives you subtle clues to the solutions (and goes beyond in-grid puzzles). You gather information that seems random at first but, once you understand the logic behind every item and resource, you start putting the pieces together one step at a time (the game makes you do that in a very comfortable pace) until all makes sense once you finish it. Highly recommended!
Beglitched might feel frustrating and unfair sometimes, but mostly because unlike other match-3 games, you don't necessarily have a fair chance at the start of each puzzle screen, you're supposed to create your own luck. The fact the puzzle screen stays the same from the end of a "fight" to the start of the next is the real meat of the game, allowing you to plan ahead to push through an entire level, something especially important to do for the later ones, where an unprepared puzzle screen will irredeemably result in a slow and painful death. The game isn't without flaws, of course. The possibility to die in one wrong move in Catnet, resetting the level after half an hour of playing it, or the ambiguous wager rules in Ratnet, can feel very unfair. But that also comes from the game's approach on tutorials, which are mostly absent in Beglitched. You're supposed to understand how things work on your own, experimenting with mechanics as you play. And even though it results in some unfortunate frustrations sometimes, I still think that was the right approach. You start Beglitched confused and lost, but by the time you finish it, you'll have achieved true understandings of its many mechanics. And that feels good.
It's good! And a lot more challenging than I expected from the trailer.
I love the pixel style and the premise is genuinely so unique! I also think it's a very innovative way to use the general Mine Sweeper mechanics! If you enjoy experimental indie pixel art games, then this is most likely up your alley!
Adorable and fun! Waiting for the day I might ever find another game like this.
It is delightful and clever. The gameplay is not difficult; only the final section poses a real challenge to figure out what to do to proceed, but the game's personality and aesthetic are strong, and the different sections and new abilities show creativity and occasionally make you pause to think about what you will need to do to succeed.
