Beat The Game

Very interesting animation, very cool mechanics, very cool overall, but the ending I got, after playing for 80 minutes, was, near as I and several watchers could tell, unbeatable. [spoiler]Make sure you have all sounds before entering the DJ booth.[/spoiler] Even with that said though, this might be worth your time, it's definitely a very cool art piece and something that should be drawn on for inspiration.

No time for a review so I give this game a rank D. Mediocre game - sadly you can forget it.. See my profile for more details about my reviews. Additional notes: this is clearly not a game, more of an arty experience. Admittedly the visuals are interesting, somehow reminiscent of Psychonauts and the likes, but more punk, less caring. The concept is typical of uni/school works, gameplay/content/depth/narration is lacking severely. Even the sound, which is the main core of this conceptual thing, is problematic, as it is not smoothly implemented and very frustrating for people from the music world like me. This should be free. Move along.

The game has so many bugs it makes it completely unplayable. Here is a list of bugs I found: 1. Character goes invisible 2. Mixer machine UI doesn't show up 3. Camera flies into walls 4. Literally can't get past a part in the game where the protagonist finds a robot because it freezes everytime The art style is great but the rest of the game is horrible just because of the bugs that make it unplayable.
