pinche juego todo bueno, tiene tanta aura que me voy a quedar ciego xdxd
Incredible game, I loved it on the PS3 and had to buy it when I saw it on Steam. It runs on pretty much anything, and it's neat how it generates levels based on whatever music you put in. 10/10, have played for years and I would definitely recommend as a fun little music-based shooter.
Hey, did you ever play Geometry Wars on the 360 and enjoyed it, but thought, what this game needs is nonsensical level-up and award notices obnoxiously thrown at you on screen constantly and SO many particle effects and flashing that you don't even know what's happening on screen? Man, is this the game for you. If you're normal, skip it.
the idea is good, but the gameplay is lacking.
If you want to know what what Beat Hazard is like, think Asteroids meets a WinAmp vizualizer. Its a great game. It plays great on the steam deck and anything with a graphics card. The devs still support it all these years later. A great experience all around.
This game is awesome. It's great for those who enjoy intense sensory stimulation and the new bosses are fun as heck.
Great fun with your music.
Decent, but not great. The main advantage is ofc playing with own music. I like the general idea too. There's a lot to do within 2 (or more with DLCs) modes. But there are bunch of flaws: - The gameplay is lacking. Without DLCs, you control just 1 ship in meh gameplay loop that spams you with very repetitive enemies. DLCs add more stuff, but eh. - Why exactly do you need to collect volume...? - The music folder is annoyingly not remembered sometimes. - The effect of the music is often lacking. Some songs don't even present the same enemy patterns for whatever reason. Overall - 5.5/10 - slightly positive. I recommend Beat Hazard 2 much more. It's way more entertaining with more enemies, tons of various ships, no volume nonsense and syncs better with the beat. 1 can be skipped, it beats it only in terms of achievement variety and boss balance.
