Beat Hazard 2 turns your music library into pure chaos, and somehow it never stops being fun. Every song creates wildly different enemy patterns and visual explosions, so even familiar tracks feel fresh during gameplay. The screen gets absolutely ridiculous during intense songs, but that’s half the appeal. It’s a fantastic arcade shooter if you want something flashy, fast, and powered entirely by your own playlist.
Wow, a new feature with a huge effect on how you play the game. Surely this feature will be well-tested and streamlined since the whole release seems to revolve around it, right? No? Oh, well, then I'm sure you can turn it off to aid trouble-shooting and allow you to play the game similar to the first? No? Okay, ♥♥♥♥ you too, I guess. You don't need to be an engineer to apply such basic engineering wisdom.
The entire concept of being able to base gameplay using your songs is great and what draws most people in. But after actually playing a handful of songs no matter how different they all ended up feeling mostly the same, with the gameplay being as simple as it is you'd want the concept to make up for it but it just dosn't do enough, I attempted many high bpm songs with loud sections expecting the gameplay to match when in reality it just ended up being the same as any other song just with brighter flashing lights and a few more enemies. In terms of the songs already included with the game they fair a little bit better but still suffer from the under utilization of the conecpt. This game could have been leagues better if they had just gone further with the idea of the gameplay being tied to the music, and not just having more enemies and strobes. Disappointing to say the least.
Great game!
Games are a blast to be frank play your music lets destroy ships to some heavy metal or some crazy dubstep yeah I love the flow in space
Wub wub badaboom
Don't Buy this Crap its not worth any money becouse of the horrible "open mic features" and its super buggy. It crashes a lot even on low settings.
Don't play this ♥♥♥♥ if you care about your sanity. Otherwise it's a great game.
