While I was here I thought I would write a reveiw for this game which is something I rarely do. This game is fantastic in so many ways. It is relatively easy but still poses a challenge, it has beautiful graphics (not necessarily realistic but none the less beautiful) and it is entertaining. There are things that could be inproved and full price is a bit steep for what you get but if this game is in the sale then TAKE IT because you will not be dissapointed! Thumbs Up!
Ok Changing my review a little, Tip one if you buy this, Start a game and build all the small junk till your broke then click the speed arrow 3 times for fastest speed, Take a bath. When you come back you ahould have unlocked lvl 2, Restart the game with new money, All your unlocks save. Wierd game really, 4/10 so far

Game is just not that fun compared to other tycoons/simulators. No animation, no people, just cars zooming around
+Easy to jump into +Decent graphics +Employee and price management on individual buildings +Beach is divided into parts, allowing you to set individual prices for each one +Skill points which can be spent to improve various aspects of your business +The sandbox map is pretty large -No scenarios, just the sandbox map -Some mechanics (like what the circles mean around the buildings) aren't explained well -Some advisor messages could be a bit more helpful/detailed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q11Tz8tWhnM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsfYXW9YS3M
There are quite a few "Tycoon/Simulator/Management" games out there and plenty of them are very good games. It's all about choice and what you like to simulate as well as enjoy as far as what your hobbies are. Sadly, this could have been a great building management game. Overall simple interface, easy to figure out how to structure your buildings and locations, and it even tells you what you're missing with each building and what you can do to fix the issue. Whether it be the pricing is too high, not close enough to a location, or needs more staff to make things easier for your guests. My issues are as follows... 1.) The game is more about grinding, which can take forever. Part of the problem is there's only 1 fast-forward option, and it's definitely not fast enough. Just getting through a month (in-game) can take close to an hour (real time). It takes so much time to get anything done and even longer just to get any progress in the game. If it had more "Fast-Forward" options, it wouldn't be so bad. Most simulator games usually have a x3-x5, this one only has 1 fast-forward, and it's definitely not fast enough to get anything done. 2.) Even with the grinding, it takes a long time for anything to happen. Progression in the game requires getting a set amount of tourists to like what you built and even longer to appreciate as a whole. It took me a while to actually figure out you don't even need every building to be built in the game, just a few simple buildings and you could easily progress with just a small or minimum amount of tourists. 3.) Knowing what I know now, if I had known this game requires hours to days of getting anywhere, I wouldn't have gotten the game. Even the Farming Simulator games don't take this long of a progression. The game could have been a great game with what it take, but getting to the next level of buildings and locations just takes way too long and I'm better off with something else. 4.) The people are pretty demanding when it comes to complaints and that alone can be hard to fix, as each complaint can be very costly and you won't make much money. Really the only way I managed to get anywhere was to accomplish some of the in-game achievements (each achievement grants you special points to spend on specific upgrades) and that alone was also costly, but it can help lower the complaints a lot. I only put in the few hours to actually show I tried to play the game. I even managed to get 9 achievements out of the 36. I really want to like this game as it does have a lot to offer, but you will be sitting there, playing a game that requires too much grinding and just watching time fly by. This game is for those who literally have nothing better to do. Sadly I cannot recommend this game. What's odd is I actually have to use compatibility mode to get this game to work. I had to use Windows XP (Service Pack 2) with admin and it worked great without glitching or crashing. If you get this game, get it at a super cheap discount, as much as possible, and be prepared to grind for hours.
Unfortunately, I don't recommend purchasing this title. Progress in expanding your resort after the initial development and you're earning well is just ultimately slow and dull. It is a long grind to gain acheivements to the point of boredom and I have not played this game in many months as a result. However the management system is well constructed, it doesn't contain any bugs that I'm aware of, doesn't need much PC power and isn't difficult, so it has all that going for it.
I'd much rather draw a beach resort than playing this game. :| I never thought a game could ever be this boring.
Part city simulator, part micro management simulator, part simulator of a complete loss of hope (okay.. it wasn't really a simulator of the loss of hope. That part was real) Beach Resort Simulator is a game that would have been wonderful if it had been released in 1990 on some 3.5-in disks. Sure, some games age well, but this one isn't among that short list. Not only is the game best played on fast forward (so you have money to do... anything), but it is best played by someone who has nothing to do (like... while at work. Which is exactly where I play it). You can't really lose the game as far as I can tell. No natural disasters, no strikes, and once you play for a bit no chance of losing all your money. Each building must be individually maintained. Each. And. Every. Building. You will have hundreds of them! You cannot manage all hotels of type A at once. Instead you must find all those hotels and adjust them individually! A terrible game mechanic that would have been tolerated 25 years ago perhaps, but not today. While I did play a lot of this, I've since found new "background games" to play at work. So this game can thankfully be removed from my computer. Don't bother with this one!
Nette Idee. Mehr nicht. Keine Kaufempfehlung.
