Battlevoid: Harbinger is a hard sci-fi space exploration game blending roguelike, turn-based, star map strategy, and real-time space battles. You are a young commander venturing out into enemy territories, to unknown galaxies, never knowing what you will face as you jump out from hyperspace.

It's a really good, simple 2d space roguelike. 4 levels, 3 difficulties, with a handful of ships and things to pick from. I think I played this one about 5ish years ago? Not sure why I only had an hour in it, but whatever got added was worth a good 30 hour run. it's difficult, but learning what works and what doesn't was good fun. Didn't feel like I ran into any filler either. Really good for a weekend or a short break game. Adding it to favorites for sure.
Much fun...
Great game centered around spaceship battles an customisation, very underestimated and underrated.
Simple and interesting
I really wanted to like this game, but it's just so unfinished. The balancing is horrendous and your doing is arbitrary. It takes (tedious) ages to get to a point where your fleet is somewhat capable and then you just get wiped out by random encounters. This has little to do with strategy, it's just frustrating. Don't buy it.
I've played this game for probably over 1000 hours on Android (phone) and this was my primary game for "on the go". Of course I'm not particularly thrilled with this PC port because I expected the game to have more content and be significantly expanded considering that this is a PC version, but they didn't do any of that and I'm just a little disappointed about that. I would definitely recommend getting it for your phone and having it in that format for "on the go" play.
Played this game years ago. Played this again recently. If you like roguelike games with a space theme, you will like this.
