In my opinion, this is the best game in the franchise and easily my personal favorite. It's so ridiculously well-made and detailed, which is incredible for a game that's nearly 10 years old now. Even after three subsequent releases, this is still the absolute GOAT of the series. The good: - One of the most immersive war games I've ever played. Everything is crafted at a top-tier level—graphics, atmosphere, and audio design. - Tons of weapons available. While every PvP game has its meta choices and weaker guns, almost everything feels viable and usable. - Excellent map design. Most maps are extremely fun to play, and I love how accurately they capture real-world historical locations. - The campaign is really cool and presents a grounded, realistic look at war, even if it is on the shorter side. - I love that it's set in WWI, which is a rare setting compared to the flood of WWII games. - The Sentry Kit pickup mechanic adds a great dynamic to matches without feeling broken or unfair. The neutral: - Cheaters do exist, and EA isn't going to fix the issue anytime soon. I'm not putting this strictly in "the bad" because the cheater count isn't overwhelming, but it's still worth noting. - Certain maps feel somewhat unbalanced depending on the game mode, though this is definitely the exception rather than the rule. The bad: - A few specific weapons feel noticeably overpowered, which becomes especially frustrating if you play Hardcore mode. - Infinite vehicle ammo can be annoying. Battlefield V fixed this by forcing vehicles to re-supply at base stations, but here, sweat pilots can stay in the air endlessly, making planes feel oppressive. This game regularly goes on deep discount during sales, making it an absolute steal. Easy recommendation for anyone looking for a top-tier PvP shooter or historical war game.

if your looking for players in BF1 go to multiplayer > sever browse > slots 1-5 > any region and u should find servers with a lot of people in it. this game is still good and i'm glad people still play it.
