Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20.29/day in the week to Jul 30 → 21.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I like beating up handicaps. Goog game.
One of the best "git gud" games I've played and definitely deserves the overwhelmingly positive ratings. Better graphics than the original. Animations are very well done and combat flows like water once you master it. Finding all the collectables was both a chore and rewarding at the same time as you need the XP to get upgrades for Batman. The Riddler challenges and campaign though.. This is not fun. To get a couple of achievements, they make you grind your soul away. It becomes an unbearable slog. The atmosphere is dark and fits perfectly with a Batman game. Sounds are great. Music is great and fits with the game and atmosphere. Better in every aspect than the previous game.
After finishing Batman: Arkham Asylum, I wasn't expecting much from Arkham City. My biggest issues with the previous game were how limited the combat eventually became and how clunky the overall movement felt. Fortunately, Arkham City immediately proved that Rocksteady understood those weaknesses and started refining the formula instead of simply repeating it. The combat is where the improvement is most noticeable. It still follows the same Freeflow foundation, but everything feels smoother, more responsive and far less repetitive. Fights maintain a much better rhythm throughout the campaign, making combat genuinely enjoyable instead of becoming something you simply tolerate between story moments. It doesn't reinvent the system, but it improves it enough to make a significant difference. The story kept me engaged from beginning to end, and I never felt that the main campaign overstayed its welcome. If anything, I actually appreciate that the core story doesn't drag on unnecessarily. The problem isn't the campaign itself, but everything surrounding it. Arkham City offers plenty of optional content, but much of it feels designed to increase playtime rather than improve the overall experience. Missions like Victor Zsasz's phone calls quickly become repetitive, asking you to travel across the city over and over again without introducing anything mechanically interesting. The issue isn't that these missions are optional. The issue is that many of them rely on repeating the same gameplay loop while sending you back and forth across the map. That leads to another problem: traversal. While opening the game into Arkham City was a natural evolution from the confined areas of Arkham Asylum, moving around the city never feels particularly satisfying. Long distances become noticeable because Batman's mobility is still fairly limited compared to what the series would eventually achieve. After playing Arkham Knight, it's impossible not to notice how much faster and more fluid traversal eventually became. Here, travelling across the map often feels like something you endure rather than enjoy. I also wasn't particularly impressed by the amount of side content. There's certainly plenty to do, but quantity alone doesn't add value. I much prefer games where achievements and optional objectives naturally complement the main progression instead of encouraging constant backtracking, collectible hunting and repetitive activities simply to extend the experience. Optional content should offer meaningful gameplay or narrative expansion, not exist purely to make the game appear larger than it actually is. Even so, Arkham City is undeniably a major step forward compared to Arkham Asylum. The combat is significantly better, the overall pacing is stronger, and it's easy to see the series moving towards what would eventually become Batman: Arkham Knight. Looking back after playing the trilogy in reverse order, Arkham City feels like the bridge between the foundations established by Asylum and the refinement that Knight would later perfect. It's a good game and an important evolution for the series, but many of its limitations are still evident today. For me, it's a solid improvement over Arkham Asylum, though it never reaches the level of refinement that Arkham Knight eventually achieved.
Batman: Arkham City (Game of the Year Edition) — это экшен адвенчура от третьего лица, прямое продолжение Arkham Asylum: та же боевая система, тот же упор на стелс, исследование и гаджеты, только вместо одной лечебницы — целый закрытый город. English Version (french below) : The gameplay was clearly refined from the first game, an open world has been added... the global scale of the game is much bigger in general. The music is really good, the story is pretty cool and most side quests are really nice, I'd even say they are of surprisingly good quality. I think, despite what most people say, Akham city actually has the best bosses of the series, or at least the most interesting gameplay-wise. There are quite a LOT of Riddler's trophy but the same could be said about any of the upcoming Arkham Games. What actually makes the platinum drag on for quite a bit are the challenges, especially the predator challenges. In general, I rather like them because it's sort of like trying to figure out a puzzle, but the sheer amount of challenges with 4 different characters is a bit much for my taste, especially when you play characters that don't have key features that Batman does have AND with some of the game's clunky interactions that can cost you the whole mission. Other than that, the gameplay was nice, it was the first time we could glide in Gotham with Batman and they did a pretty good job with it.
