Batbarian: Testament of the Primordials

Like most metroidvanias, this started slow and dull, but it soon progressed into a rather clever and charming puzzle game. Also, I <3 ^V^.

great game, had lots of fun with it and gamplay is smooth. plays like a metroidvania with a lot of puzzles. Listening too the lore is not necessary for this game, but gives it a lot more depth. (I mean.. you're barbarian after all.. no need to listen, just smash!) ;) only thing that annoyed me, was that you can't attack in any other direction but in front of you.. but i love that you have to combine your throwables with other world objects to make stuff work.

Extremely fun and good metroidvania! The mechanics are easy to learn, the exploration is really good, with a quite big map, the dialogues are really fun (lots of humor in this game!), the lore is pretty cool and the music catchy! The game design is well done as well, you shouldn't be lost in the game for long! Also, the game has multiple challenges to offer aside from the main exploration and bosses, you won't regret purchasing it!! 100% recommend

Normalement, je n’achète que des jeux Steam qui sont notés par la communauté par une note très positive ou plus. Ne passez pas à côté de ce jeu, car les évaluations ne lui rendent pas justice. Les gens qui n’aiment pas ce jeu sont ceux qui n’aiment pas trop les défis : «Ils se sentent complètement perdus et ils ne savent plus quoi faire pendant leurs aventures.» Ainsi, ils viennent pleurer leurs frustrations dans l’évaluation. Pour ma part, je trouve ce jeu très original et il devrait même figurer dans l’esprit des jeux cultes de Nintendo. Je m’explique… • Les bosses paraissent tout le temps impossibles à battre, jusqu’au moment où tu trouves leurs points faibles. • Les larbins ne peuvent pas être anéantis par la méthode facile de type «hack and slash», tu dois trouver la bonne parade d’exécutions appropriées pour chaque ennemie. • Les casse-têtes sont très bien réfléchis; parfois ils sont faciles et d'autre fois ils sont très difficiles. Ils demandent une bonne dextérité de la manette de jeu tout en utilisant les bonnes compétences acquises pendant l’aventure. (J’ai dû abandonner 2 casse-têtes). • Les passages secrets seront très utiles durant votre aventure pour améliorer vos compétences et raccourcir vos chemins. • Votre animal de compagnie est l’outil de guerre du jeu; sans lui, le jeu n’aurait pas été aussi original, car ces compétences sont une extension de votre personnage tout au long de votre aventure. L’aventure me fait penser à un vieux jeu Zelda ou faxanadu sur la console de Nintendo. Peu importe le prix à payer, je conseille ce jeu. Et pour ma part, il mérite d’être noté dans la catégorie «d’extrêmement positif».

(в отзыве часов мало, ибо наиграл на плойке, но игра произвела сильное впечатление, отчего решил поделиться еще и тут) игра очень классная, это разнообразная и веселая по нарративу метроидвания с большим упором на головоломки и меньшим на битвы. при этом игра, хоть и берет дурашливый тон, бросает серьезный вызов, особенно если вы замотивированны собрать все сундуки. при это в игре нет двух одинаковых геймплейных ситуаций, а игра крайне насыщенна контентом, не заставляя вас гриндить или тратить свое время еще как-то впустую. плюс отличная музыка. даже если оттолкнет простой внешний вид игры, хоть и аккуратный, то дайте шанс. особенно те, кому понравился Legend of Grimrock. да, это разные жанры, но есть общее ощущение игры, поиграете - поймете.

Fun puzzles, funny dialogs, and awesome art style. Has alot of challenges but very worth it, great game!

This game is so huge wtf

Decent puzzle platformer, but I had some issues with the physics on some puzzles (I'm not sure if this was due to it running at 165fps). I also found a way to consistently get stuck in the walls. Took around 10 hours to complete.

I had no idea this gem existed! Excellent metroidvania with a comedic and well written story so far. I would recommend this game to anybody who enjoys retro style metrovanias. Well worth the 20 dollars.
