Nice, chaotic hack 'n' slash

Fun little game - very addictive. My hand hurts :-D

Great little game :) spent a fiver and got 22 hours out of it. Easy to enjoy gameplay and very jump in and out, decent music and nice art design.

Barbearian is a solid "hack and slash" - "beat'em'up" game. It also has a touch of old arcade games. I liked the graphics. The story and sound are mediocre. The forte of this game is the gameplay. It's a simple, entertaining, addictive, straightforward skill based game. Good variety of enemies, you upgrade your char and your soldiers with money, you collect powerups and special weapons. What is impressive is the sheer amount of enemies on the maps, especially when you enter the second half of the story. It fabricates some epic brawls and a hectic, adrenalinic experience. It's challenging. There is only 1 difficulty mode but you can modify it nicely with the damage received - meter. Frankly, after a while I lowered it to 75% damage received, and in some boss fights to 50% damage recieved. But it's ok, I saw some people playing on you tube with 10% damage received, so I'm satisfied with how I managed to beat the game.

Good stuff: Pretty well balanced and fairly intense combat. Both in regular missions and boss fights. Solid art and VFX. Old-school styled explore and discover mentality that works well. Not so great stuff: Pretty annoying menu and map music (high pitched and repetitive) Very linear character and story progression. The final grind to get the good/true ending is a bit much.

It's not a bad game. Funny nice story cool bosses. The music is annoying at times and the character could be faster. Quite short even with the achievements. Best with a discount.

ハクスラだけど　思っていたハクスラとは違った感 特攻して殴れば　敵は死ぬってわけじゃなく　普通に雑魚敵・強い雑魚に殺される 割と回避重要だし　ボス戦だと回避命 仲間と金を集めて　武器防具強化や仲間強化していく 自キャラの操作感が合わなかったのも親指下げた理由だけど コントローラーでプレイしたら楽しめたのかな？

Tienes un heroe al mando con su hacha repartiendo castañas a todo enemigo que se mueve con la inseparable ayuda de tu sequito de caballeros, mercenarios y arqueros. Conforme pasas niveles podras rescatar a mas humanos para convertirlos en soldados anteriormente descritos. El juego es bastante sencillo. No esperes un RPG. Simplemente mata todo aquello que salga por delante en unos cuantos portales que iras visitando y liberando. El dinero es fundamental para mejorar tu ejercito, subir vida, mana y otras cosas como comprar armas. Cuando mueres, pierdes proporcionalmente dinero. Mi recomendacion es que vayas a la batalla con el menos dinero posible y lo gastes en todo lo que sea antes de viajar por los portales Hay varios jefes finalmentes y aparecen cuando completas los niveles de la zona. No es facil, mas bien se va volviendo cada vez mas dificiles y algunos jefes son duros. Puedes bajar el nivel de dificultad si ves que por defecto se te hace pesado. Sencillo en mecanicas, adictivo pero muy repetitivo. Para echar el rato no está mal.
