just bad game
Cute, and not much else...
Early access or not, this game is quite simply not fun Behind the admittedly adorable art style, every *mmorpg* aspect of this game is at best tolerable. Here is my attempt to summarize some of the bad design decisions I ran into.

Full PVP landing area for newbies is simply a bad decision. I cannot imagine this helps new player retention at all.
Sluggish movement - the default movement of your character is slow...VERY slow. This quickly annoyed me on a subliminal level, and after an hour I lost all desire to wander back out to the killing fields. I asked world chat if there was a button to run, and they told me "This isn't BDO".... I cannot stress enough how much the slowness and inconvenience of movement absolutely DRAINED my enjoyment. I felt like every step was a slog, a struggle, and I had only just begun....
Combat - if you thought movement was sluggish, you're gonna LOVE the combat! Want to walk in one direction and fire in another? Not in these parts! Even better if you run an archer who can only fire forward, and for some reason fires 3 arrows with every attack. Oh, there's also a cooldown on attacks, but there is absolutely no cooldown indicators.
No minimap - while it's not a huge deal, I think it's pretty silly to include a *map* in the players inventory that they have to open manually instead of including a minimap. This is not the type of immersion that makes games more enjoyable, it's just confusing and tedious. Overall, my brief stay in Megania online was frustrating and unrewarding. The systems built in place are just not enjoyable. I could not even grind past level 6 because I spent all my copper coins on arrows, since your arrow spell combined with mana regen is an absolute joke. I stood around long enough to get PK'd and logged out. Megania Online has the framework of potential, but as it stands right now, I can find legitimately zero reason to spend time playing this game. Everything it does *okay*, another game does *much better*. I would normally give most of this the Early Access shrug, but I mean come on, they could not even bother to add a dev roadmap to their official website, but there IS a placeholder page for their VIP shop packages. Maybe someone can/will have fun with this game, but I don't think it's for me.
Megania online, Dragons Çağı'nda geçen fantastik bir ortaçağ dünyasıdır. Pek çok macera ve bulmaca sizi bekliyor ancak aynı zamanda klan savaşlarında, mitolojik yaratıklarda, canavar baskınlarında, güçlü son patronlarda oyuncularla yüzleşmeniz gerekecek...
pls be careful so many ppl have found out the hard way this game is a scam. If you dont get a virus or something else nasty with this game you will get hours of trolling frustration when you realize the game is almost impossible to play without running into a ton of issues.
Servers are dead.
all i need to say is 93h playtime in 4 days with many more hours to come! :)
Magania Online is a browser/Flash tier 2D lightweight "MMO" that's deep in Early Access development hell and has a plethora of problems. Gameplay is a JRPG styled 2D retro pixel RPG with realtime combat. The good news for gamers is that the numerous defects and poor/greedy design decisions have turned players away and the game is dying, should be dead soon. It's basically a race to see who abandons this Early Access game first, the players, or the shady devs. The game hasn't had any updates in roughly 3 months, which casts doubt over whether it will ever be completed. There's numerous reports of frustrating and sometimes game breaking bugs. The game is not free, it's monetised like a crap mobile app. The developers completely hamstrung players so they're forced to pay money or spend hours just moving around, it's that predatory and nasty. Poor game design especially around PvP and lack of player behavior management meant that when players did play the game, it was griefer central, with experienced players abusing every loophole and aspect of the game to murder basically everyone else. New players stood no chance. This hamfisted mismanagement by the developers contributed to the failure of the game. A choice was made to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked, and can't be changed or customised to improve the visuals or the control experience. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC. The game features no proper level design or game/story flow/plot, as they opted to try to use samey repetitive procgen algorithms as a substitute for adding such content to the game. As a result, the game doesn't actually have any content worth mentioning, just endless, boring, repetitive, soulless algorithmically generated sameyness. Developers must learn that procedural generation is not an acceptable substitute for content. The developers appear to be involved in suspicious data harvesting as they eschew SteamWorks (because SteamWorks does not facilitate privacy invasion in the ways the developers prefer) in favour of demanding users hand over their email address and other private, personal details. Presumably this is so they can profile you, collect data on you, combine that data with other sources and sell your private information off to the highest bidder (and, in fact, anyone else who is willing to pay for it). That's reprehensible and must not be tolerated. I'm sure they'll swear black and blue they don't, so "just trust them", but I wouldn't trust these shady developers as far as I could throw them. An ethical developer would use SteamWorks. Stay safe out there. SteamDB shows the game failed to garner any interest from gamers, with just around 70 concurrent players trying it out at launch, and they never returned. Now there's just one player logging on every day or so. This abject failure to appeal to gamers is almost certainly a result of the numerous defects, design failures and problems with the game. It's impossible to recommend this to gamers. If you're looking for a good, free, non-predatory MMORPG, try Lost Ark.
Before I played Megania Online, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
There's a skeleton of what could be construed as a potential start of a 2d pixel art MMORPG of adequate quality... possibly. The art isn't too lousy, but once you begin to move, engage in combat, explore the maps, and run into other players, the design flaws become readily apparent. This game is heavy on PK yet doesn't really put anything in place to facilitate leveling up. There are cash shop items to bypass the leveling process. There's no lore or story in the game of any significance. The maps look like someone threw them together haphazardly in RPG maker and saved the first take. I had some hope for this title despite how lousy the MMORPG space has been across the board recently. At least Leafling Online gave me an excellent soundtrack, interesting maps, and didn't force me to grind for days on end. Given there aren't any recent updates, this game is likely going to be shut down by the end of August.
