I'm kind of torn on recommending this. It's a good idea, nice art style etc, but there just isn't much content, even for the relatively low price. After 30 mins or so I've had two successful runs and I don't really feel like a third. I think the Devs if they are serious about this game should develop out some mini puzzle levels, angry birds style, which players can play though and try to score 3 stars. Like, 20-30 of them to make the game worth the money. They could then sell further levels as dlc.
Pinky my man, I can totally relate to you. This game touches my soul.
jump king's little brother...
Fun game. Really like the animation.
Having a lot of fun with this one. You come for the silly laughs and then you stay for some addictive gameplay!
Tales From The Arcade: Fart Mania Flappy bird… Pero con pedos. No sé qué más decir. Es Flappy bird, vertical, pero con pedos. Y me encantó.

Tales From The Arcade: Fartmania is a handheld (Nintendo Switch)/console game that's also been put on Steam as a bit of an afterthought, as it's very much designed for the handheld/console gaming audience. It's yet another of literally thousands of console ported 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. The only point of interest in this routine "me too" entry in a sea of pointless and ignored platformers is a flatulence theme. Yep, that's all the developer could come up with. Needless to say, it failed. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game is comprised of somewhat okay-ish hand drawn 2D cartoony illustrations instead of professional looking 3D game assets. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can create graphical assets properly, or lack of talent. Regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is very low, beneath what PC gamers have come to expect in this era of cutting edge photorealistic 3D graphics. At least it's not pixel "art", but if you're looking for contemporary, immersive visuals, this game is a fail. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Because this is designed for handheld/portable gaming appliances, it carries a number of deliberate design deficiencies. Compromises were made to cater to the low power handheld gaming appliances that the game was designed for. These are unfortunate compromises and limitations that PC gamers shouldn't be forced to accept, but it's evident that PC was a second thought for the mobile game developers. The game is deficient as a result of these choices, and would have been so much better without the handicaps that designing games for low power handhelds forces upon a game. While this might run well on a Steam Deck, we must remember the vast majority of gamers here are gaming on PC. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 110,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ games on Steam? Tales From The Arcade: Fartmania has the far too high price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam. This is also competing with over 14,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. After that initial burst of positive 0-day reviews, nothing. This is not a co-incidence. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
