One day, suddenly and out of the blue, we find ourselves in a bloodbath, which was unexpectedly triggered by biological dangers caused by a meteorite impact. Our crew and creatures suddenly transform into evil creatures through mutation. Luckily we know how to help each other. Equipped with an arsenal of weapons, we set out in the style of Serious Sam to blast our way to freedom. The game is characterized above all by a colorful level design, spacious and clearly arranged areas and bizarre opponents. You are confronted with an extremely large number of opponents, but they only have a minimum level of artificial intelligence. The gameplay is therefore usually very hectic and consists of quickly killing numerically superior but stupid hordes of monsters. Eines Tages geraten wir plötzlich und aus heiterem Himmel in ein Blutbad, welche durch biologische Gefahren unerwartet ausgelöst wurde durch einen Meteoriteneinschlag. Unsere Besatzung und Kreaturen verwandeln sich plötzlich in bösartige Kreaturen durch Mutation. Zum Glück wissen wir uns zu helfen. Ausgestattet mit einem Arsenal an Waffen machen wir uns in aller Manier von Serious Sam auf, um uns einen Weg zur Freiheit zu ballern. Das Spiel zeichnet sich vor allem durch eine farbenfrohe Levelgestaltung, weitläufige und übersichtlich gehaltene Areale sowie durch skurrile Gegner aus. Man wird mit einer äußerst großen Zahl von Gegnern konfrontiert, die aber nur ein Mindestmaß an künstlicher Intelligenz aufweisen. Der Spielverlauf ist dadurch meist sehr hektisch und besteht im schnellen Töten rein zahlenmäßig überlegener, aber stupider Horden von Monstern. Das Leveldesign folgt meistens einem Grundschema: Der Spieler betritt einen relativ überschaubaren Raum, wonach sich die Aus- und Eingänge automatisch verschließen und Horden an Gegnern hereinteleportiert werden. Nachdem diese gefallen sind, öffnen sich entweder die Türen zum nächsten Abschnitt, oder es werden erst einmal Munition, Panzerung und Lebensenergie in großem Umfang hereinteleportiert, worauf anschließend weitere Gegnerwellen folgen. Voice actor for Alyssa, here~! But as an avid gamer myself, I feel the need to share my opinion on the gameplay in a non-biased manner. Currently recording myself playing this for YouTube, and I've only made it through the prologue so far, but from a completely non-biased player experience, I am thoroughly enjoying this game! The combat is insanely fast paced and there are plenty of difficulty to choose from to tailor to any player level. I'm still learning the mechanics of which gun is best to be using, but the learning experience is definitely part of the fun! This is my first boomer-shooter game and I am having an absolutely blast. I first auditioned for Alyssa in this game because the art style immediately caught my eye. And my love for the artistic touch from the developer has not changed. Not only is the art style completely unique, but the music is all original and very catchy, and the silly death screen messages have me DYING. So not only is the gameplay entertaining, but so are the artistic aspects! And I find that equally important for any game. I highly recommend this game not just as a player, but as a member of the team as well. I've seen how hard the developer and other team members work to make sure this game caters to all player types and works to fix the concerns of the community!
